He spent the majority of his career only attacking unknown rappers from his past and pop stars. I don't see any balls in attacking NSYNC, Britney spears, Christina aguilera, Moby, or drugged out females from his past. MGK, who is not known as an incredible rapper, delivered the hardest punch to Eminem ever. This speaks specifically on Eminem not having the balls to attack those who are weaker than him. There is nothing intelligent about him clowning Sunny Bono. You never saw him go after a legit made type guy, just seems kind of whack to me for someone who's supposed to be a loose cannon
@Christine Gralow just like he's smart enough not to attack anybody that could really go after him. Maybe we could replace that word smart with "pussy" enough.
I've always respected that about Em. It's the same with sports and battle rappers. If you're two athletes, put it on the court, field, or ring. If your a rapper, keep it to the music
Not in this day and age, barely anyone understands comedy or humour anymore lol people would get butt hurt over someone breathing incorrectly near them these days.
As someone who has an abusive mom, I always really enjoyed hearing him diss his mom. It was almost a vicarious experience since very few abuse victims ever get that kind of opportunity to air out their grievances and really expose and embarrass these people, especially when it's your mom because 95% of the time everyone takes her side and blames you no matter what.

That Michael Jackson diss was the most funny and disrespectful one he's made. Really made me think of MJ different too for being so sensitive to the point where he endorsed protests against Eminem tried to get his video taken down Edit: before you come in with the "MJ owns his catalogue, he bought multiple artist's catalogues, his reasoning for buying Eminem's wasn't because of their beef
Mj was getting disrespected all the time back then. It’s was about time he took revenge. But I do the agree with you that the fan protest was a little too much.
When you’ve lost the ability to laugh at yourself, wtf have you become? Em was clearly just clowning around and made a funny song. There was no ill intent behind it whatsoever. Stevie Wonder even came out and talked shit about Em after that. MJ and his estate tried to sue Em and get the video taken down. None of that worked. MJ did say fuck it and bought EM’s entire catalog up to that point and made money off Em until he died in 2009 and Em got it back. Now, several other artists were included in that $370 million dollar deal and this wasn’t the first time MJ has done something like that. I’m sure, though, that the main reason MJ did that was to get his revenge on Em in some way. Haha shit is crazy but funny as well.

I just read a comment and it reminded me of why I love him so much. He's not cocky and raps about his real life struggles. Let's not forget, most rappers diss people on the regular and brag. Eminem's different.
@Bass Player I am a fan of most you listed ESPECIALLY ozzy, judas priest, and motley crew. But at the same time EVERY genre of music has been smashed and shit on in the way you described rock. I am 30 years old from Chicago (mainly into hop hop) but my dad got me into judas priest/other rock as a kid and we went to a bunch of concerts together.. I love them both equally. Eminem is by far one of the most talented rappers to ever exist and it is beyond deserved.. the MASSIVE impact it had on freedom to speak your mind in music and now days the impact it is having on recovering addicts/alcoholics. Eminem is a legend and probably saved hundreds of thousands of peoples lives. That is why he is celebrated so much. I know for me growing up a drug addict he was a major motivation for me to get clean and most likely saved my life
I love Michael but he probably didn’t know that Eminem whole niche back then was dissing those around him. Michael wasn’t the toughest person around when it came to insults and I don’t blame him too much for that when it came to Eminem lol
@@Halzabalza That just how Michael was he was so green like a child. He’d use little profanity and do very little explicit things. He even held all artist in high regard. That’s how his heart was.

On top of that Mike was in a battle with Sony for his share of the company and literally the entire establishment (IRS included) to keep his billion $ catalogue. He hardly had time cared about Em. If his fans hadn’t gathered in the thousands that day he wouldn’t even had said nthn. Mike was pretty strong. He didn’t get to the top of a cut-throat biz by being soft.
@@shennine7044 you know what I agree. Perhaps if he wasn’t going through all that this would be something he’d brush off his shoulder but Michael had to deal with alot of drama and ridicule from the public for things he didn’t do and so I understand this making him upset especially if it’s something that he’s been trying to tell the public he didn’t do. Maybe it’s just me I just wouldn’t give Eminem that type of attention if I was him because that a only boost his image rather than stop the issue.

Actually Michael Jackson did the next bet thing he bought the rights to that song which is why we don't hear it no more. An if it is played. Mj makes money off of it.
I first heard Eminem when I visited the states in 2000. I came home with the 1st 2 CDs and a serious crush. 23 years later, recovery from alcohol, 2 life threatening illnesses and this man still lights me on fire.
The diss against Mike was disrespectful, but it's far from being destructive towards his career. Large corporations couldn't destroy Mike, they did it gradually.
Well that child molestation scandle did destroyed MJ's career. He was struggling with legal battles and couldn't afford his lifestyle and was forced to sell a lot of his prized possessions and properties.
Honestly the part where he wrote a song about his wife and performed it using an inflatable sex doll to represent her- then was violent with the sex doll and the crowd loved it and his wife saw this and tried to commit suicide- that’s really awful. I’m an Eminem fan, but especially in a world where a lot of girls are told they are objects- and seeing straight up how deep that trauma can run in a human mind and the self harm and self hatred that could lead to- it’s sick in a way that poisons humanity itself. We all come from a man and a woman, to see either gender in such a degrading light is to hate an aspect of your own humanity.
@@mariitz_ true, but Mariah is a legend in music so that won’t forever be her legacy…I mean you hear her nonstop every Christmas season lol…but MGK on the other hand, that’s still brought up whenever he shows up or is mentioned
mgk most stoled album was after diss, and it was not even a rap album.. i do not hink he was destroyed. MGK is bipolar so talking lots of shit, but he is not that bad rapper. Spec his early mixtapes and albums....
The big thing with Eminem is that while his style has changed over the years, hell, he's been rapping since like 1988 in terms of underground then released Infinite in in 1996 which brought him to the real mainstream, he's never lost his ability to twist words into a flow that no one thought was possible. 'Til I'm hitting old age, still can fill a whole page with a 10 year old's rage' will always be true until the day he leaves the business.
I'd argue that Infinite didn't really bring Em into the mainstream. It got some people inside hiphop to take notice of him, but The Slim Shady LP was where he became a household name and truly became a mainstream hit. Like, you never heard an Infinite track on the radio in 96 or 97 but you couldn't escape My Name Is in 99 and from that year onwards until about 2005 Em was on the radio constantly, not to mention all his TV appearances, 8 Mile film, etc. Anyway, I'd still consider Infinite to be an underground record. At least at the time. Nowadays it's obviously much more well known but even in like 2002 when The Eminem Show was blowing up, most people couldn't name his first album or thought it was Slim Shady LP.
@@Ashfold_Eberesche I meant more in terms of getting there, previously he'd been releasing mix tapes and EPs, but Infinite was the first real showing of Em, which then obviously goes into what we know now as his career
Michael Jackson was pissed about what Em did to him and bought his entire catalog so every time Em did anything until 2016 when music rights were given back Michael got paid
People let Eminem down time and time again, he decided to rise above it and also called out people to be outspoken He needs real, he deserves real He's been through too much and just speaking his truth For that, I applaud him
In my opinion Eminem has to be quite possibly the greatest rapper to ever exist, like as a child whenever I go to like a party or something I would always hear Eminem on the radio even both my parents are big hip hop fans and so am I, both my parents love listening to Eminem and I do too and I always thought to myself that if I were to ever become a rapper I would not want to get on Eminem's bad side at all, because I have heard a lot of his diss tracks and they scare the crap out of me every single one of the,m Eminem practically destroyed Ja Rule and Everlast's careers
First of all who the hell is everlast? Secondly ja rule's career was doing just fine until the FBI "conveniently" got involved, pretty impeccable timing for the FBI to start investigating murder inc don't you think? Too bad they weren't this impeccable when it came to the scumbags trafficking children for 20+ years.
As an Eminem fan since “My Name Is”, this video is silly. All it really did was recap Eminem’s most recurring themes in his lyrics (family, politics, pop entertainment culture, rap beef, toxic love). Yes, he really did destroy certain rappers but dropping a name in a lyric isn’t the same as outright bodying a person.
Listing MGK as being "destroyed" made me laugh. MGK's response ("Rap Devil") was generally well received, even by many Eminem fans who thought he was ballsy to respond and respected that, and he's gotten way more popular since that happened. Eminem didn't destroy him, he helped make him. I sometimes wonder if this wasn't on purpose given that their labels are owned by the same group and both tracks for MGK's diss and Em's response were made by the same person.
@@BlackMarketBaby MGK did rap devil, then Em did killshot... Then MGK switched genres lol. Nothing ballsy about mgk and he didn't respond to anything either lol.
Lesson learned: You can hate him, you can dis him, you can try to tear him apart but Eminem isn’t going to break. His talent is unsurpassed and his drive is relentless. You don’t simply claw your way up and out of nothing and then crumble when folks take shots at you. He IS a pillar and will always stand.

As a fan of both MJ and Em their drama was hard to witness, especially because Em is clearly in the wrong here as MJ got framed by media to look like a monster, the same way headlines work today when they grind off of a big celebs name and there was nobody bigger than MJ in the 80s 90s. Em who should know best what it's like to get framed by the same media should have been able to see through this. Gladly more and more people know this today. Rock solid content, nicely put together and informed. Em has had too many beefs, disses, bold name drops, warning shots, and has caused too much industry drama to cover in a single video without it running on for a few hours, but an incomplete list of some of the other people, entities, and groups not listed in this video include Snoop Dogg, Joe Budden, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Charlamagne the God, Lil Yachty, Tyler the Creator, Christopher Reeves, Sonny Bono, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Saddam Hussein, Ayatollah Khomeini, John Wayne Gacy, Pee Wee Herman, Moby, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, N-Sync, Jermaine Dupri, Diddy, Fetty Wap, Migos, Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky, George Bush, Dick Cheney, Laura Bush, Lord Jamar, Jessica Simpson, Lindsey Lohan, Insane Clown Posse, Middle America, the American Government, Hollywood, Journalists, Critics, OJ Simpson, Mitch Mcconnell, Michael J Fox, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, Timothy White, Tommy Lee, Amy Winehouse, Backstreet Boys, John Mayer, Kurt Cobain, Will Smith, Brandy, Mace, Gwen Stefani, Sir Elton John, JoJo, Madonna, Ricky Martin, Ted Bundy, Versace, Rihanna, Kellyanne Conway, 21 Savage, Al-Qaeda, Kid Rock, Hillary Clinton, Ellen Degeneres, Cage, Bill Cosby, Suge Knight, Sarah Palin, Elvis Presley, the Grammys, Vanilla Ice, R Kelly, Chris Brown, Casey Anthony, Charles Manson, Garth Brooks, Clint Eastwood, Vince Staples, and the entire Pop, Mumble Rap, Techno, Rock Rap, Country Western and Trap musical genres. Em also never spares himself either, and I think his unforgiving honesty blended with his lyrical story telling ability and expert delivery and flow are what makes him one of the greatest modern day poets and regardless of whether his music is your taste or something you vibe with, even his worst critics don't deny him his flowers when it comes to his raw lyrical talent, ferocious delivery, or how he has honed and perfected his craft and impacted the Hip Hop genre.

I always found the beef with Eminem's mother to be sad. I've watched some documentaries over the years and people who were members of his family or where close to his family say that Marshal was spoiled by his mother growing up and that she would do anything for him... which obviously in of itself doesn't make her a great mother, I'm sure she was a flawed mother as most mothers are. It seems as though most rappers are quick to buy their flawed mothers houses once they make it, whereas Eminem used his mother as a punch line and a means to create a particular narrative that he wanted to portray about himself and his upbringing. And to be fair, Eminem didn't have to chance to do this, because probably before he was really being paid, his mother dropped the lawsuit against him, which turned Eminem's agenda driven narrative into a genuine beef at which point he wrote off his mother., which I agree was wrong on her part, but what he did was wrong as well. But who knows? And the clown who did this video said that a few years later Eminem dedicated a song to his mother, but it wasn't a few years, it was 15 years later.
To be fair, even the most abusive people can put on a very good front to outsiders. No one knows what really happened to Eminem at the hands of his mother other than him and her. Family members and friends might be telling the truth from their perspective but that doesn't invalidate his claims about how he was treated growing up.
@@rinesserin - If I had to guess, his mother was very hands off, which isn't necessarily good, but it is preferable in my opinion to the strict and/or abusive type of parent. In other words he had a lot of freedom (much like my upbringing, but with that you don't get much attention or advice)... one point of evidence being is, his then girlfriend Kim lived with him and his mother. How many parents are going to let their sons girlfriend live with them at 15? which I'm pretty sure it was. Most people may resent there parents if and when they happen to make it in their personal dream/passions, since almost as an absolute rule your family are going to be your biggest detractors from your dreams. I'm not sure if it's exactly jealousy or what, but I'm sure his mother likely gave him crap over his rap passion as most parents would.
@@dinglbarry1275 Again, actually, a lot of parents with extreme drug addiction literally just don't care or aren't aware enough to notice what's happening in the house around them, so his girlfriend living with him may have been a result of that. It could very well have been exactly what you've guessed, my only point is that we should believe victims because we have no idea what happened behind closed doors. If Eminem says he was abused, I believe him wholeheartedly.
As someone who also had a parent abandon them under similar circumstances, I understand. I’m not saying it’s right or the best way to go about things, but I understand.
in order to be the best of the best rap artist or rap group, or be overall successful in anything no matter what any career profession a person has, a person has to be limitless, have no boundaries, and never be dependent on "selling one thing". It's always off putting when a famous rapper or whatever, goes off on the anti team R side of the coin (or anti team D, which is less common with celebrities, but with the general populace it is). When people do this it just confirms that they don't really get it, otherwise they would see that the left is just as corrupt as the right. How people in general don't recognize this, is beyond me. They still buy into the left vs right team, which is exactly what the system wants and is part of the plan. Get the people blindly entrusting in their team, so the people will blame one another for the problems going on, while the government expands it powers and grows in plain site. And for the record the government grows just as rapidly under the team R administration as team D, so it's all part of the plan. I still baffles me, just how many people don't grasp this and they still believe in the fairytale government and the notion of a lessor of two evils in politics.

Good video, mentioned almost everything except one that I recall. You forgot to mention he was also investigated in about 2003 because of his song "We As Americans" because of lines : "Fuck money, I don't rap for dead presidents, I'd rather see the president dead, It's never been said, but I set precedents."
What makes or gives Em that little advantage on dissing other rappers is that he’s comfortable dissing himself. All these other rappers put on a gangster persona, rap about gang related activities but never rap about what they do and/or deal with outside of that. Em did all that and he got himself comfortable TO DO that. He mentions his mom’s drug usage, he mentions his dad leaving him, and within his disses, it shows how much he cares for his daughter. Which is why it burns more when HE disses others because there isn’t anything to diss about Em in the first place since it’s already been SAID.
I like how all the other rappers all they have on Eminem is his daughter that’s all they could say was something bad about his daughter. He did not care what they said about him once you bring someone’s kids into it you lose already.

That Michael Jackson diss was the most funny and disrespectful one he's made. Really made me think of MJ different too for being so sensitive to the point where he endorsed protests against Eminem tried to get his video taken down
Edit: before you come in with the "MJ owns his catalogue, he bought multiple artist's catalogues, his reasoning for buying Eminem's wasn't because of their beef

It would have to be destroying Benzino and the Source Magazine.

"idk who u "R Kelly" - cmon man whatre you talking about lol
Listing MGK as being "destroyed" made me laugh. MGK's response ("Rap Devil") was generally well received, even by many Eminem fans who thought he was ballsy to respond and respected that, and he's gotten way more popular since that happened. Eminem didn't destroy him, he helped make him. I sometimes wonder if this wasn't on purpose given that their labels are owned by the same group and both tracks for MGK's diss and Em's response were made by the same person.

It just sounds different
But it golden

my fav eminem album for sure
what
I like how you took what could be considered the ONLY positive line in “Foolish Pride” & posted it instead of any of the other lyrics where he talked about Black girls being stupid & ugly and other insensitive racial slurs. Don’t get it twisted, Em is one of the GOATS hands down, can’t take that away. But that was very slick what you did and you know it.
Wish i could insert a voice, "He should be ashamed of himself..." 🤣
He didn't destroy Michael fool.
MJ is legendary of legends. A celebrity of celebrities
He was still doing music and was still the greatest entertainer before he passed.
Always will be.

Michael is a legend, not the GOAT.. mike destroyed his own career and name
@@crystalsmith7939 nope KAOS FBI, and CIA destroyed him. They have power to say anything, and everyone will believe them.
That's the power of the beast!
Michael is god of music and dance industry... He is the Legend.... No matter how many controversies have surrounded him, how rude the interviewers were with their questions, he had always been soft spoken and handled everything with class. He is loved world wide and he is legend even if 100 Eminems come they can't match him. (Just saying, I have nothing against Eminem though).

I am glad he apologized even after a while tho, probably took him time to realize what he did and couraged up to do it
@@rinesserin - If I had to guess, his mother was very hands off, which isn't necessarily good, but it is preferable in my opinion to the strict and/or abusive type of parent.

When your clickbait is a way of life that you even lie while reading a comment 😂😂😂
in order to be the best of the best rap artist or rap group, or be overall successful in anything no matter what any career profession a person has, a person has to be limitless, have no boundaries, and never be dependent on "selling one thing". I'm sure a lot of people have seen someone be dependent on one thing that has no relation to their talent and their careers ended real quick if not slowly, some are still working their careers, some chose to retire.
He uses his rap lyrics as therapy. His lyrics are raw emotion. His mom was very toxic as was his marriage. Focus on the good he does too.
how many rappers are gonna talk about em’s daughter before they realize that they’re gonna get their careers destroyed
This man is a legend say what you want about him but he built his career on honesty and not giving a damn! He said what he wanted in his songs and you either love it or you don’t 🤷🏾♀️but you can’t deny he got bars! He paved the way for these white mumble rappers, shit he paved it for these mumble rappers in general
He didn’t pave the way for mumble rappers
Eminem respects the art of hip hop.
You can hear it in his songs. He’s a Lyricist.
Name one song were he mumbles.
@@josecontreras6702 bruh you read my comment upside down or? I didn’t say Eminem mumbles I said he paved the way for mumble rappers! Meaning if Eminem never existed half these rappers now wouldn’t be who they are especially the white ones! He basically opened the way. The man is an legend and an inspiration! Read what I said again
5:21 That is not his stepbrother. That is his half brother from his mom side, Nathan. He raised that kid after Nathan was taken into child protective service.
Eminem is Eminem you can never get away from dissing him until he puts you in your place
13:18 That's so wrong to put the kids in it and threaten someones innocent child.
Only eminem can diss eminem
Facts 😎
I know he cry’s like a bxtch when others do it to him.
Wow Canibus is literally the only person that could stand a chance with Eminem. Not only is 2nd round ko the best diss track of all time, its also one of the greatest tracks of all time.
Eminem gained huge popularity and money by "attacking" or making fun of great artists.
Now other up and comers use his name to become popular.
He was able to shut them down which is good for him.
But he should always remember that he did it to others first.
I feel for Kim I really do what she has to deal with from now the whole world is devastating! Break ups r hard but with the extra with being well known and your ex pretty much making your relationship front page drama smh , I love Em but damn dude that is still ur daughter's mother
You don't think he knows that? Have you listened to Bad Husband?
Hello how are you doing today sunshine 🌻
I'm very happy to meet you here so you are welcome and if you don't mind can we be friends? Shannon
Hey
I actually respect eminem for creating the tone deaf video and it blows my mind for seeing his masterpiece of lyrical genius. Hats off to him. No needed to be above of him. He deserved to have an Oscar for lyrical genius with the slang words.
Admit it canibus and Eminem had one of the greatest beef in the history of hip hop
Good video, mentioned almost everything except one that I recall. You forgot to mention he was also investigated in about 2003 because of his song "We As Americans" because of lines : "Fuck money, I don't rap for dead presidents, I'd rather see the president dead, It's never been said, but I set precedents."
How did he destroy Mike? He tried with the King and his highness bought his catalog. Mike won that battle hands down
great content man, no nonsense just straight up rap history, these are the kinds if videos i would show my kids if i had any.
0:31 tell me that ain’t Andrew Schultz🤣
😂
😂😂
I like how all the other rappers all they have on Eminem is his daughter that’s all they could say was something bad about his daughter. He did not care what they said about him once you bring someone’s kids into it you lose already.
Here to protect Eminem at all costs….
He doesn't need protection 😂 lmao
He doesnt need....but still i want to too
😂 what a pathetic thing to say. Super cringey dude

Could've had "Shit hits the fan" on the Ja rule segment that whole song was a disstrack

That shit with MGK just boosted his career, sadly he released a mid EP after that and handled it terribly. But nonetheless, that beef was fun to watch, and as someone that loves both of them, I was surprised by the speed at which Kelly released the track. Less than 24 hours later, he had a song, and a video response.
Come on mgk had that shit bagged up since he dropped the subliminal diss it wasn't no less then 24 hrs. 😂
The song was on soundcloud like 3 months before kamikaze album .
