    Congratulations again =) and nice video, well made, thanks for the work to publish it!
    I tried to apply through your website at the beginning of July but I think you were too busy with this launch, if you're looking for a M.Sc in control engineering, let me know, I'd like to join the team and I will leave my job in few weeks... I'm going to follow a professionnal pilot training which means that I'll have a lot of free time beside! I'm interested about the "survival and life system" of the rocket, because it's a field where people are not so much engaged. I think that Mads made it alone (according to Astronogeek's video), so the recovery is a part where I'd like to be involved...

    Hi! Good job with the Nexo 2. Also i have a question
    I am building a hybrid rocket right now and i bought a chinese altimiter for the Arduino in the rocket. Do you think the altimiter good enough or do i need to use a better one? BTW the rocket is less than half the size of nexo 2 so it's a very small rocket. have a great day=)

    • @AIM54A
      @AIM54A 6 лет назад +14

      Don't go cheap on critical components. When you're done with your project you'll have invested hundreds of hours, and plenty of money in your project. Don't let it fail because you went cheap on something as important as the altimeter. Find one that has a good history in the rocket community. Then TEST EVERYTHING 3 times.

    • @petermaersk-moller3014
      @petermaersk-moller3014 6 лет назад +6

      Depending on your target altitude, you should really test and calibrate your altimeter in a vacuum chamber and perhaps detects its limits.

    do you have plans to reuse this? ik this is late lol

    • @CopenhagenSuborbitals
      @CopenhagenSuborbitals  3 года назад

      With a bit of refurbishment we could fly it again, but we decided the cost and effort required with the amount of time and budget we have is not worth it, as there's not much new we could learn from launching it again. Some parts like the engine, for example, might be reused for testing our new injector designs around Christmas.

      @@CopenhagenSuborbitals Does today's lockdown affect you?

    • @CopenhagenSuborbitals
      @CopenhagenSuborbitals  3 года назад

      @@johndododoe1411 Yes, we would be testing our new coaxial swirl injectors between Christmas and New year if it wasn't for the restrictions, as they require a lot of personnel if we want to livestream and ensure safety. And of course we need to limit the amount of people working in the workshop on a given day, which also means we have stopped our public tours that help us fund the project, not to mention shipping delays for parts, etc. So we are affected just like everyone else. :)

      Nowhere, it's restricted information. North Korea might use it for the short flight to Seoul or use details to improve their intercontinental missiles. Russia and Ukraine probably have all the technology already. The German inventor of the design concept tested in this location before becoming a big shot at NASA.
