Good to see BABYMETAL back and you up and running again. Very interested to see what the second song will be. I first watched this at work and could hear how good it was. But hearing it on headphones is a whole other experience. Genuinely quite emotional.
This Song is sooooooo amazing and now my most favourite BM Song ever!!! Well i think the 3 Background singers are symbolising their older self when Yui was still with them and the Song is a farewell Song. Maybe thats why they wear white cloths which is, as much as i know, the mourning color in Japan.... Su has such a deep sadness in her voice and Face it breaks my heart. It touches my deepest inner core and fills my Heart with sadness and hope the same time.

AKATSUKI UNFINISHED is still my fave tear jerker from Su, but this performance of Monochrome is definitely running a close second... the emotions she's putting in her voice, the vocals... That's why I like her vocals more than other J rock/metal bands singers like lovebite or Band Maid, her voice is clear and bright, whereas most Japanese singers tend to be more nasally or muffled...🤘🦊🤘

Over delivering is a good word for it too. ( almost seems like you've improved your way word choices ) They really do that and keep surprising us. Sometimes you can sense a direction, but you can't see how they will deliver it. Babymetal has good songs and they have the talents involved that they can put any arrangement on it to fit the genre they want (or at least try lots of things off-screen until they find something that works 🙂).

Look at Koba's favorite, X-Japan. They have 2 members that are dead. But they're still official members. I really don't expect Momoko or YUI. I expect something less obvious and more abstract. That's the way it always is. They love to mess with us.
About the tease of the 3 girls, did you notice how the right girl was much taller than the other 2? Imho it can't be Momoko, who is just a little bit taller than SU. I believe it's Sakia, Miko and Kokona!

I think momoko is actually singing with Moa since I don’t think the first take allows people who aren’t in groups to do backing vocals. I’m also pretty sure they show the shot of the three because the first requires all who sing to be in the video.
Could be from my ears though it sounded like it was just moa untill the whoa oh's which sounded like a backing track so your right i think Momo could have sneaked in there slightly but i dont think it was her live though! I could be wrong but thats my take
