There is some history about this keyboard. My father used this model for years that came with 9 pin serial port and another one with PS/2 port. He must have bought it back in 1990s. At that time, it came with Cherry MX Blue switches unlike now. I grew up using this for all the initial gaming I used to do in Pentium 2 onwards systems.

I am using this keyboard(with Cherry MX switches) since 5 years now. Got it from flee market for just 20rs. In full working condition and not even a single dent.

I'm using it since it was launched. Trust me guys TVS Bharat is way better than those ultra-expensive mechanical keyboards. Its build quality is rock solid. I use it for heavy typing and regular gaming. Still today it looks new, I have even opened it for cleaning and internal components are made with high-quality materials.
I am sure that you never owned a "so called expensive keyboard"

That's exactly why I got this keyboard.
Even though, i had the Dell wired keyboard which is still considered the best keyboard today but some of its keys had got permanently damaged by water damage. I took out the membrane and cleaned the plastic circuit but the situation got only worse. So, i wanted a reliable mech keyboard and I got this.

I have 5 TVS gold keyboard (2 with cherry mx switches, 2 with long hua and one with box white) and i can say cherry ones are pretty hyped. They were actually cheaper quality cherry mx than one you get in market. TVS made some deal with cherry to produce those in india. The best i have used is box white switches (gold pro) from kailh and i love them.
3:00 when the keyboard was launched it came with cherry MX switcher but due to high prices the newer variants now have longhua switches that are the Chinese equivalant to cherry MX.
It still comes with cherry mx switches at the tvs gold I bought 2 months ago for 2100 has cherry mx switches. I don't from where people are getting this wrong narrative that it comes with longhua switches.

@@toogoodonbed145 that means u got the old model that has cherry mx. I have two of these keyboards and one has Longhua and the other has cherry mx(but it is quite old)...
Not a sensible option anymore it was the only keyboard which used to give great value back then with cherry mx red but for some reason they downgraded switches from cherry mx red to some Chinese clones and lost its value better keyboards with rgb are available now for lower price miss those golden days when we used to have CRT monitors 500 mb ram some kinda old Intel CPU and legendary windows Xp with this keyboard this gives me tears now I'm stuck with carrier building and some other stuff ☹😢😢

I've got the PS/2 version with real cherry mx switches. Still working like a charm. I bought it for 1300 sometimes around 2015-16.
I bought TVS Gold keyboard in Jan 2010 and since than using it. I have used 3 PC but the keyboard is same. I think now it does not comes with cherry mx switches, but my keyboard has cherry mx blue switches. This keyboard is legend. I will use this keyboard for next 15 years also. The only problem is it has PS/2 port.

I am using TVS gold keyboard more than 30 years. Still it is working fine. Only problem I have to use converter to connect newer PC. This is really awesome product. Newer keyboard are ductile keyboard and prone to failure. Single key malfunction means replace keyboard. This is not the limitation with machanical keyboard.
i was used this keyboard in 2002 as child while playing aladin game it was aswsome experience today's keyborad dont have that kind feel specailly non mechanical the sound and use of space is mind blowing😊

I have used samsung and Tvs mechanical since 1998 .
I still use this . They have a good life , like this is my 3rd one.
It gives an amazing feeling of productivity, pleasing sound.
(I also have a second keyboard Logitech which I use during night shifts- because my family cannot tolerate the mechanical keyboard noise while they sleep)

Waiting for TVS gaming laptop
Until end of 2017, the TVS Gold keyboard used to have the Cherry MX Blue Switch. I fortunately have both the Cherry MX version and the Long-Hua version. It is more or less the same, but the Cherry MX has a more clicky sound compared to the Long Huas.
I have tvs mouse and keyboard 2010 model and still works like a new. Hats off TVS!
