Yup and that's why people like you are so important.
I understand that you're not trying to de-convert people but beliefs have repercussions and guide our actions. As long as a majority of our people don't understand logic, critical thinking, skepticism or still believe in Adam and Eve ( mythology ) instead of the Theory of Evolution ( an observable fact) our children will never be able to compete on the global stage.
In 2050 black people will stil be waiting for Jesus to come down from heaven and give them salvation while the Chinese and Indians will be building cities on the moon.

Those extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Which Christianity doesn’t provide.

@@TrisjensChronicles1203 There's plenty of "evidence" for Christianity. Just depends on what you're looking at and what criteria is being used to make the statement if Christianity is "true or false."
Based on your comment, you can only deny the miraculous/supernatural events within the Bible. To claim Christianity to be "false" is way too broad of a claim.
If you narrowed down the claim to "Christianity changes people's lives." It would be hard to argue that it is a false statement. Although it is a discussion if the change is better or worse.
Or "Christianity's teachings (meaning, not someone who is a Christian but does the opposite to represent Christianity) is a good way to live."

Then Jesus said this { John 20:29 Thomoas you believe because you have seen , blessed are those that have not seen and yet believed .} How easy would it be if Jesus peeled the sky open and waved then everyone would believe what blessing is there in that ? @@TrisjensChronicles1203, that’s something you don’t seem to understand. Salvation is in having a personal relationship with our Creator through our faith in Christ. You think faith in God is found in religion, but religion was established to lead you away from God. I could list all the historical events that God said would happen hundreds and even thousands of years before they occurred, and how they were fulfilled exactly as God says. I could point to infinite examples within the creation itself that show intelligent design, or to the scriptures of God’s description of His creation that we didn’t learn until recently that things in the creation are EXACTLY as God’s Word says, and none of that would change your mind. Only the Holy Spirit can give you the faith to truly believe, so you need to ask Him to show you, not other people who have no power to convict you of God’s truth. I left religion, and I found Christ, and only then was I spiritually regenerated by faith that God Himself gave me. He continues to uphold my faith. Do I understand everything that happens in this world? Or do I understand everything? No, but I look to God and His Word for wisdom and understanding, and I’m completely aware of my shortcomings, but I know the spiritual forces at work in this world, the wicked spirits, and the Spirit of YHVH, and I know that YHVH is the One who is working all things for His glory, and even the evíI that’s done is turned around for good by YHVH. It’s okay not to understand everything, because we are human, not God. There’s a verse that says “LORD, I believe. Help my unbelief”. The man acknowledged his lack of faith, but He knew that Jesus had the power to take away his unbelief. He asked Jesus, Almighty YHVH in the flesh, to take away his unbelief, not another person. If you want to restore your faith in Jesus, then you need the Author of our faith, God Himself, to take away your unbelief, and change your heart to flesh, because you have hardened your heart against God. All who seek Jesus, JESUS and NOT RELIGION, with their whole heart will find Him. If my faith was in religion rather than Christ alone, I would still be lost.

I think you should look into Arian and Nicene conflicts, at points in the 3rd century people like Nazianzus had a small church in Constantinople while his Arian rival held the city's main cathedral in the early 380ad
Just look at how Saint Jerome referred to Arianism. the battle between Nicene and Arianism is so important in Christianity.

The earliest sources about Jesus before Paul’s writings likely date back to the very first years after Jesus’ death, which is typically considered to be around 30-33 AD. These pre-Pauline traditions can be traced back to the following periods:
    1. Oral Traditions (30-50 AD): Shortly after Jesus’ death, his followers began to share stories, teachings, and beliefs about his resurrection. This period, often referred to as the “oral tradition” phase, may have started immediately after the events of Jesus’ crucifixion. This oral tradition formed the basis of much of what was later written down.
    2. Early Creeds and Hymns (30s-40s AD): Some of the material embedded in Paul’s letters is thought to be very early. For example, the creed in 1 Corinthians 15:3-7, which speaks about the death, burial, resurrection, and post-resurrection appearances of Jesus, is considered by many scholars to have been formalized within just a few years after Jesus’ death. Paul writes that he “received” this tradition, indicating it was already in circulation before he began his ministry.
    3. The Jerusalem Church (30s AD): The earliest Christian community, led by figures like James (Jesus’ brother) and Peter, likely preserved and spread teachings about Jesus. This community, centered in Jerusalem, would have been active right after Jesus’ death, providing another early source of information about Jesus’ life and significance.
Therefore, while Paul’s letters date from around 50-60 AD, the traditions and sources he drew from were likely established within a few years of Jesus’ death, meaning they could date back to the early 30s AD.

Brother, it was brave of you to share your testimony and I appreciate it. Having said that, I think you may want to revisit some things.
    1. Discovering that some things in the Bible are not literal does not invalidate the entire theology.
    2. We have extra-biblical evidence for Jesus’s life beyond Josephus’ writings (Clement of Rome, Suetonius, Ignatius of Antioch, and more).
    3. Archaeologists HAVE found tangible evidence for Jesus’ life: we have the “Pilate Inscription” (confirms the existence of Pontius Pilate who ordered His death); and we have the Caiaphas Ossuary (burial box inscribed w the name of the high priest involved in Jesus’ trial, which is corroborated in the New Testament)
    4. Absence of overwhelming archaeological evidence is not a reason to dismiss Jesus’ story has mere fiction. People were ready to “write off”the Bible as a corrupted text until discovering the Codex Sinaiticus in 1844 and the Dead Sea scrolls in 1946. These discoveries were nearly 2000 years after Jesus’ life! And we didn’t even know much about ancient life in general until we discovered the Rosetta Stone and learned how to decode ancient writings. So, just because scientists have not excavated anything during your short lifetime doesn’t mean they won’t find more evidence in the future, especially as technology continues to advance.
    5. The fact that we don’t have tons of contemporary writings about Jesus is not a cause for concern. The Roman Emperor Tiberius was the most powerful man during Jesus’ time, yet all we know about him comes from just 4 biographies written AFTER his death. The writers were Suetonius, Tacitus, Cassius Dio, and Payerculus. Likewise, Jesus’ life was recounted by 4 biographers as you know: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
So if you want to “throw the whole book away” you might as well throw away everything you think you know about ancient history too! I can imagine how devastating it was to feel like you were lied to. But I’m encouraging you to reconsider your decision, because deep down I believe you know He is the way, the truth, and the life! God Bless.

You have been led astray my brother. The bible has nothing to do with religion, it's centered around the constitution of God's Kingdom. It's about allowing the holy Spirit to renew your mind, which in turn will align your appetites and desires with God's will the more you yield over time. It was never about following "rules" or the law." The law exists primarily to show how impossible it is to please God by ourselves. Atheism was created by, and has very much been fueled by Freemasons (who are actually satanists at the root.) Who do you think is funding the elites, the many luciferarian entertainers/athletes, and emasculating agendas in the media and our schools? Are you not aware the entire world is at enmity with God? Are you not aware that the United Nations, and the world economic forum have already declared "new world order" in the name of "global governance," through "one world currencies "one world religion and the like? How else do you think it is that Albert Pike who founded Free Masonry, detailed exactly how world war 3 would happen decades ago? How is every single mainstream artist insanely demonic? Haven't you seen the increase in the amount of evil found in essentially any "hit" show, in the form of debauchery, profanity, essentially everything God detests. Are you not aware that regardless of your opinions, these worldly demonic forces are still very much at war with God? Either you are with God or with the falling away so vividly described in the book of Revelation. The bible states Satan has deceived the WHOLE world, and the biggest lie of them all, is that our opinions have any bearing on the TRUTH. Please don't fall for the strong delusion

A lot of this is tracked through the Catholic Church and that turns off a lot of people but when you look at the history of it and the destruction of the church a lot of it makes sense. In the past year, I stumbled upon a story that I thought was BS, began researching heavy and it brought me right back to the place I vowed to never be affiliated with again… the Catholic Church. Don’t get me wrong, they are responsible for a lot of the destruction of what we see now and how we feel about religion and Catholics but when I did my research and followed the lineage it does go back to Catholicism with an understanding that man has damaged this not god or the concepts of what was supposed to be. Hi Trisjen. I understand where you’re coming from as I’ve gone through a very similar journey as you, but ultimately came back and rededicated my life to Christ 3 years ago after along time being an agnostic. What did it for me was a combination of paranormal experiences and coincidences I could not deny or logically explain, combined with realizing that end time prophecy is playing out exactly like I grew up being told it would. Basically although logically speaking I don’t understand a lot of the Bible, my intuition, paranormal experiences, and current world events tells me that there is in fact tremendous power in the name of Jesus. What I’ve personally experienced has led me to this conclusion even though I don’t understand it. This existence is very mysterious, and watch as the idea of aliens starts to go mainstream. Agnosticism as you're using it is the colloquial usage, there is only theism or atheism and both theists and atheists can be gnostic, or agnostic. Gnosticism only refers to the knowledge of a belief, and do you have any reason or evidence to say that there is some form of the afterlife? coz mortality is a scary thing to think about sometimes but it doesn't mean you're justified in saying the afterlife is true.

20 years ago I said the infilling of the Holy Spirit is the only validation of the Bible. Without It the accounts are too fantastic to believe. Jesus said this generation seeks for a sign. That’s evidence or as I like to say, people who want an over the top demonstration. But no sign shall be given except for that of Jonah, repent. There has always been a debate over tongues as well as pretenders. But that is a word wide phenomenon when it’s real. There also has been miracles, healings and answered prayers of the specific sort. God is not gonna come running down every 20 years to say. Let me do a magic show for you all so you can believe in me. It’s basically trust and believe or don’t. The Bible is primarily about spiritual warfare. Rebellious angels, the stubborn will of humanity and God dealing with both. A lot of churches don’t even really deal with spiritual warfare and then we wonder why there’s so much chaos in the world. And we really have to seriously consider because there’s the debate over archaeology. Some say there is and others say there isn’t. If this is spiritual warfare and there’s fallen angels set to deceive, whatever the rocks cry out about they’re gonna work really hard to conceal that. That is why it’s written, the god of this world has blinded them so they don’t see and won’t believe. This faith stuff is not as cut and dry as believers and nonbelievers think it to be.

You didn't prove that it didnt't happen. You just proved that there wasn't evidence. Those are two different things. The apostles were martyred for their faith in Jesus Christ, they wouldn't die over a lie. You are clearly asking the right questions, but you aren't asking God. When you have your own revelation with Him, you will believe again. If you don't believe in God, then you must ask yourself who created the first human being, and many other things the Bible explains. Without a God, who decides what's objectively right and wrong? If you have no faith in God anymore, you're just a moral relativist, which is simply subjective opinions of right or wrong based on who you ask. But you know that there is a clear objective distinction between right and wrong and it's because of God. Also, Yahweh is not the name of God. Its YAHUAH. And his son's name is YAHUSHA. Stop following religion, and start seeking Jesus Christ.

I was raised Mormon, and still believe in God, and if I had to choose a religion, it would certainly be Mormonism since it comes closet to what we get when we actually read the Bible in its original context. But, my believes about God have somewhat changed. You see people having had NDEs, or reading the Bible and what not, and yet still all disagree on things.
So I finally figured that there has to be some cherry picking. Best thing about it is, the Bibel does its own cherry picking. And what I got once I allowed that cherry picking was that God equals truth and the fruits of charity, meaning, if I live, love and honour truth, I love God, and if I embrace everything that brings forth within me the qualities of kindness, gentleness etc, I love God.
The thing is, witih that definition of God you have to reject great portions of religion, dogma and even the Bible. But as I see it, its the best and only way a usefull spirituality can work, because in the end that means we actually care about all truth, even if it contradicts our faith, while at the same time embracing only those things that bring forth within ourselves the fruits of charity.
Personally I even see that being thaught within the Bible, but it can only be seen if you reject most of what people think the Bible actually teaches.

I believe there's a God, I'm not against church, I'm not anti-religion, I'm not anti-Christian, etc, but there are some things religious people believe that's a sin that I don't believe is a sin. I don't believe it's a sin for single people to be pastors. A lot of ultra conservative Christian churches are discriminatory towards single pastors, and I think churches shouldn't care whether the pastor is married or single. The criteria churches should go by in choosing a pastor are how well they teach the Bible to people, how well they lead a church, their spiritual maturity, the content of their character, and how good of a role model they are; not whether they are married or single.
The arguments I hear as to why they're against single pastors are having this fear that a single pastor won't be able to counsel married couples having marriage problems due to never being married, having this fear they'll have an affair with a married woman in the church, and having this fear that they might be a child molester due to the negative stereotypes associated with single pastors.
I think when there's a single pastor in a church, it's helpful for the single pastor and married couples in the church with excellent marriages to work together on marriage counseling. Just because someone's never been married doesn't mean they can't be good at marriage counseling. Someone can still be a good Special Education teacher if they don't have a disability. Someone can still be a great weight loss coach if they've never been overweight. Pastors are qualified to give marriage counseling advice to people due to their spiritual maturity and knowledge of the Bible. Pastors counsel people all the time on lots of issues; not just marriage issues. Pastors counsel people all the time on issues they have experience with and on issues they have no experience with. No pastor has life experience with every kind of situation.
The main reason why a lot of male pastors end up having affairs with married women in the church isn't their marital status; it's not having safeguards in their life to help prevent themselves from having an affair. When single pastors and married pastors have safeguards to help prevent themselves from having an affair, it significantly reduces the chances that they'll have an affair. What I mean by safeguards is not being alone behind closed doors with a married woman, not having friendships with married women that are "too close", not going out to restaurants, ball games, concerts, etc alone with married women unless a 3rd person comes along, not going on vacations alone with married women, not counseling married women alone on marriage issues, etc.
Not hiring a single person to be a pastor due to having this fear they might be a child molester due to the negative stereotypes associated with single pastors is the equivalence of not hiring someone due to their race due to the negative stereotypes associated with that race. James 2 talks about how prejudice, racism, etc are sins.
A lot of religious people believe that masturbation is a sin. I believe masturbation is not a sin as long as you're not looking at porn, as long as you're not masturbating in public, and as long as it's not an addiction. I believe masturbating to deal with urges you have is not a sin. I believe masturbating thinking about girls you like is not a sin. God gave people a sex drive that causes them to have natural sexual urges. Masturbating helps people control their sexual urges in a healthy way, and masturbating helps prevent people from having affairs, committing sexual sins, etc.
A lot of religious people use the lust argument to prove masturbating is a sin since Matthew 5:28 says "Whosoever looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery in his heart". That verse isn't talking about masturbating, daydreaming, fantasizing, etc; it's talking about how planning to commit adultery, attempting to commit adultery, etc in God's eyes is just as bad as actually committing adultery just like in God's eyes attempted murder is just as bad as actually committing murder. It's important to remember that lusting after something isn't the same thing as daydreaming, fantasizing, etc. The word lust doesn't seem to same thing as daydreaming, fantasizing, etc. The word lust means planning, attempting, having the intention, etc. The Greek word for woman in Matthew 5:28 is ginh. The word ginh means a woman who isn't your spouse if you are married or a woman who's married if you're single; not women in the general sense. Adultery is when a married person engages in physical intimacy with someone who isn't their spouse or when a single person engages in physical intimacy with someone who is married. It's not considered adultery when 2 single people, 2 unmarried people, etc have sex.
I don't agree with religious people on how people can't have purpose without a God. Atheists do have purpose in life without God. Since atheists believe this life is the only life they have, they often try to make the most of it. Being an atheist doesn't make someone a bad person. • @bikerboy9010

@@salserokorsou I believe there's a God because morality is subjective without a God. There's a lot of moral atheists in this world. Without a God, lying, cheating, stealing, etc being morally wrong is just an opinion. If you live in a country where 99% of people believe lying, cheating, and stealing are morally wrong, that doesn't mean it's objective truth that lying, cheating, and stealing are morally wrong because it's the opinion of 99% of people. Other reasons I believe in God is because of the complexity of the universe, sun, stars, brain, etc. There's B.C. and A.D. in our history, which is strong evidence for a God.

Oh, and one more thing: I don't believe your story that you were a preacher for 20 years. You simply don't articulate yourself well enough and don't provide any examples, and if you do, they are personal experiences 🤣🤣

Jesus died and rose on the 3rd day. Let's say Jesus died 12 noon. From 12 noon Good Friday to 12 noon Saturday is 1 DAY. From 12 noon Saturday to Sunday morning is not even 2 DAYS!😮 well JUST BELIEVE.
Ok.. so if I just believe that he rose on Eastarte Sunday why can't I worship his rise on the same date every year.. why am I worshiping his rise on a different date every year according to the spring equinox? 😮 JUST BELIEVE!
Joseph the carpenter was Jesus's father of the flesh, and God was Jesus father by the spirit.. but it was an immaculate conception?😮 JUST BELIEVE!
AT 9:00 PM in America you look up to pray to God, but on the opposite side of the planet, someone else is praying, looking down because up is down and down is up depending on what position the planet is during a 24 hour cycle.😮 JUST BELIEVE!
The Devil is down.. down where? In the core of the planet Earth.. 😮JUST BELIEVE
It doesn't matter what he looked like! Well to Satan it matters, because Satan would alter his image to look other than what he really looked like so that you could worship something other than Jesus and create racism.. teaching me to hate the true people of Nazareth.😢 JUST BELIEVE!
AND YOU SAY JUST HAVE FAITH. IF THE DEVIL COULD LIE TO YOU AND AND SAY.. JUST HAVE FAITH HE COULD DECIEVE THE ENTIRE WORLD.😮
