I go to the ruclips.net/user/feedsubscriptions and there they are, each and every new uploads from my subscribed channels, without exception, in chronological order, for me to pursue at my leisure. Including this one and the newest intallment in Holy Hallucinations. Is this issue related to push notifications on mobile device or something?

A suggestion that may get around youtube's shitty algorithm. Group together with others producing infrequent videos that appeal to the same sort of user base. Create a new channel with a suitable collective name (that's the hard part). Say "Skeptic Tasters" or "Skeptic Teasers" or "Skeptic Previews" (except you guys will never agree on whether it's "Skeptic" or "Atheist" or "Evolutionist" or whatever, which is why that's the hard part). Each of you then uploads a taster/teaser of each video you make. Could be as simple as the first minute of the video, could be more complicated editing. Then in your uploads (either the video itself or the description or as an annotation on the video) you add "To see more videos like this from other channels, go here." Yeah, it feels like the tacky webrings of the mid 90s. Same reason. Gaming google's algorithms. In this case having a channel with fairly frequent (although irregular) uploads. Think of it as a formalized shout-out system. The real reason this idea won't work? Because you guys will fall out. Handbags-at-dawn style fighting. Backstabbing. "He sold out!" "He's turned SJW!" "She's turned anti-SJW." "He did a collaboration with King of Random!" Etc.

I haven't had a problem with the youtube algorithms because I simply use my subscriptions for content I want to watch. At this point I have more than enough subscriptions that I rarely run out of things to watch on youtube. My approach does have it's problems, but seeing as my time is limited I'd rather watch things I'll most likely enjoy. That all said, as much as I'd love more content from you KC, I'd rather you not overwork yourself. I've seen what 50-60 hour work weeks can do to people and I don't want that to happen to one of my favorite content creators. Good luck and keep well man. :)

I like how the clips Paulogia put from the debates were the highlights for *both* the debaters. A less charitable editor might have deliberately picked the moments where their side's opponent seemed at their weakest, but he chose the parts that make Hovind look formidable. That made for a really epic trailer. (And make no mistake, Hovind *is* a formidable debater - rhetorically, that is. The facts are not on his side but he doesn't let that slow him down any)
As someone who got his PhD in physics, for the love of your sanity, START WRITING YOUR DISSERTATION. Write the introduction: theory, detector (if any), etc... Your reviewers will scrutinize those chapters a lot more than your analysis chapters bc your advisor would of scrutinized the analysis way before you write it.
RUclips needs a competitor that resembles old youtube where the community and not BuzzFeed clickbait is prioritized. RUclips is also starting to increase their censorship too.

Beware that RUclips will start fucking with your videos now that you have tread into this subject area. Nearly all other RUclipsrs who criticize this area inevitably run into various "glitches" and "content challenges". My opinion is that RUclips's algorithms are not garbage by accident. It's a deliberate function and cover for manipulation.
Still have never missed a single video in my subs feed. Every time I think I might have if I scroll down forever I find that it was my fault for being blind rather than youtube's. I suspect the problem lies not in the subs feed but in the homepage/suggested feed. That thing is garbage and always has been garbage and I abandoned it years ago. People tell me that a lot of users only use the suggested feed. If they do, they're idiots, but that's beside the point. When I sub to a channel I get all the public uploads from that channel in my sub feed like I always did. If you've missed updates, can you tell me the circumstances of missing it? There is a lot of bullshit on YT but near as I can tell items not appearing in my sub feed isn't one of them.

TBH I stop watching most channels where people stream hangouts. I think it's a wonderful thing for people who might be interested in what everyone in the hangout is doing at the time, but they get old *FAST* and seeing them from people who I subscribed to for occasional quality content, makes me less interested in that persons channel in general, and so, if they make a 15 minute video about something that maybe took them hours to make, I'm less likely to watch because I associate their channel name with content that took them no time to make, no time to upload and would take me hours to watch. Some hangouts that I did enjoy though "The Magic Sandwich Show" "The Jinn and Tonic Show" "Madness, Mayhem and Charity" "The Goddamn Podcast" and, yes, even "The Drunken Peasants Podcast". The hangouts as just hangouts suffer from being unmemorable, as much as I have enjoyed sharing this space with hundreds of other Atheists from all over the world who produce content in the form of comments, videos and hangouts, the hangouts suffer because they become small cliques and the members care less about others and more about each others opinions as time progress. Sure, that is natural, but I think one of the best things about the Good Old Days of the RUclips Atheist Community is that we were judged by our comments and we knew each other less personally. An important degree of anonymity is lost when people bridge the gap between RUclips User and friend. That anonymity allows for more open dialogue, be it vitriolic, supportive, critical or casual, that extends to everyone; by holding back, you can make the largest personal impact on the most people. When I read two people's comments to each other, they are just that, comments. They don't hold the weight that is investing in getting to know people personally, weight we can only bear so much due to the limits of time, energy or whatever chemicals are responsible for desire. If you're going to do the hangout thing, don't do the hangout thing. or, do it, but don't expect much of it. People need a reason to listen to you and only you (the people in the hangout) for so long. Also, to the community, don't forget the reason we're here. The Blasphemy Challenge was what helped to establish Atheists on RUclips, it's what made us feel welcome here, like we'd claimed a space for each other. Just something to keep in mind as the demographic of this platform, and it's goals, change.

I always see my subscribed channels videos, all of their videos when posted. On my phone, I just click on the subscription icon and there they all are.
Go for "Vid Me" it is a good idea to diversify your online profile and it makes a backup in case YT goes fully 1984. But you also need to get your active subscribers there, so you may want to upload to there a day early and let your subs know about it in every video.
I actually think that RUclips got considerably better in recent years, and even though it's obviously not perfect, it's quite good. When I want to find some new content I just look at my recommendations and it shows me stuff that I would be interested in as opposed to whatever bullshit is trending right now. I mean, that's how I found this channel. Most of the channels that I know and love I found through randomly going through my recommendations. And when I log off from my account RUclips turns from an amazing place into a shitshow. Also, what's the point of notifications anyway? If I want to watch something - I would go to my subscriptions and find it there. If I don't - I wouldn't. Why would I want to get a message every time someone that I subscribed to releases a video? That's what Subscription tab is for. PS Not that I find any point made in the video invalid, just saying that it's not all round bad PPS Quantum physics vids were awesome, can't wait to see more

Beware that RUclips will start fucking with your videos now that you have tread into this subject area. Nearly all other RUclipsrs who criticize this area inevitably run into various "glitches" and "content challenges".
My opinion is that RUclips's algorithms are not garbage by accident. It's a deliberate function and cover for manipulation.
Still have never missed a single video in my subs feed. Every time I think I might have if I scroll down forever I find that it was my fault for being blind rather than youtube's. I suspect the problem lies not in the subs feed but in the homepage/suggested feed. That thing is garbage and always has been garbage and I abandoned it years ago. People tell me that a lot of users only use the suggested feed. If they do, they're idiots, but that's beside the point. When I sub to a channel I get all the public uploads from that channel in my sub feed like I always did.
If you've missed updates, can you tell me the circumstances of missing it? There is a lot of bullshit on YT but near as I can tell items not appearing in my sub feed isn't one of them.

TBH I stop watching most channels where people stream hangouts.
I think it's a wonderful thing for people who might be interested in what everyone in the hangout is doing at the time, but they get old *FAST* and seeing them from people who I subscribed to for occasional quality content, makes me less interested in that persons channel in general, and so, if they make a 15 minute video about something that maybe took them hours to make, I'm less likely to watch because I associate their channel name with content that took them no time to make, no time to upload and would take me hours to watch. Some hangouts that I did enjoy though "The Magic Sandwich Show" "The Jinn and Tonic Show" "Madness, Mayhem and Charity" "The Goddamn Podcast" and, yes, even "The Drunken Peasants Podcast".
The hangouts as just hangouts suffer from being unmemorable, as much as I have enjoyed sharing this space with hundreds of other Atheists from all over the world who produce content in the form of comments, videos and hangouts, the hangouts suffer because they become small cliques and the members care less about others and more about each others opinions as time progress. Sure, that is natural, but I think one of the best things about the Good Old Days of the RUclips Atheist Community is that we were judged by our comments and we knew each other less personally.
An important degree of anonymity is lost when people bridge the gap between RUclips User and friend.
That anonymity allows for more open dialogue, be it vitriolic, supportive, critical or casual, that extends to everyone; by holding back, you can make the largest personal impact on the most people. When I read two people's comments to each other, they are just that, comments. They don't hold the weight that is investing in getting to know people personally, weight we can only bear so much due to the limits of time, energy or whatever chemicals are responsible for desire.
If you're going to do the hangout thing, don't do the hangout thing. or, do it, but don't expect much of it. People need a reason to listen to you and only you (the people in the hangout) for so long.
Also, to the community, don't forget the reason we're here. The Blasphemy Challenge was what helped to establish Atheists on RUclips, it's what made us feel welcome here, like we'd claimed a space for each other. Just something to keep in mind as the demographic of this platform, and it's goals, change.

I always see my subscribed channels videos, all of their videos when posted. On my phone, I just click on the subscription icon and there they all are.

Go for "Vid Me" it is a good idea to diversify your online profile and it makes a backup in case YT goes fully 1984. But you also need to get your active subscribers there, so you may want to upload to there a day early and let your subs know about it in every video.

I actually think that RUclips got considerably better in recent years, and even though it's obviously not perfect, it's quite good. When I want to find some new content I just look at my recommendations and it shows me stuff that I would be interested in as opposed to whatever bullshit is trending right now. I mean, that's how I found this channel. Most of the channels that I know and love I found through randomly going through my recommendations. And when I log off from my account RUclips turns from an amazing place into a shitshow. Also, what's the point of notifications anyway? If I want to watch something - I would go to my subscriptions and find it there. If I don't - I wouldn't. Why would I want to get a message every time someone that I subscribed to releases a video? That's what Subscription tab is for.
PS Not that I find any point made in the video invalid, just saying that it's not all round bad
