Your salads look yummy. Our new favorite at family parties is called Cowboy Caviar and is easy to make. 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed; 1 can sweet white corn, drained and rinsed; 2-3 Roma tomatoes, diced; 2 extra large or 3 regular avocados, diced; 1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped; 1/8 cup lime juice, more to taste; 1 jalapeno, diced if you like it spicy; Salt and pepper to taste. Toss all ingredients in a large bowl. Be careful not to overmix. Serve with Tortilla chips.😁
I’m new to your channel. The bowl you used to serve your potato salad, I have that exact same bowl! Same color and worn spots. It belonged to my great grandma. I wish I could share a picture. I use it as a veggie/fruit bowl. It’s where I put my garden harvest that I didn’t cook that day. I like to bring corn casserole to my family reunion. 2 cans of drained corn 1 can of cream corn Chopped medium jalapeño. Can leave seeds if want. 1/3 cup cream. Stir in casserole dish. Top with 5 tabs of butter Bake uncovered 375 for 20-25 mins Let rest for 5 mins. Serve.
Our family Potato Salad is very similar to yours! I do not add the sweet pickle relish. Sometimes I add olives sometimes not. It is a family favorite & always disappears at a gathering!

Happy Sunday 🌷 I've got my 1st cuppa of the day and watching your lovely video. It's like a beautiful mini movie. Your videos always lift my spirits for the day 🙏🌷🙌🤲💜
Everything looks so fresh and delicious 😋 my mother used to make 3 bean salad and my grandmother made the most delicious potato salad. I'm still trying to remember her recipe, and still don't have it quite right. Have to try red potatoes next time. I miss my grandmother Rose. Thank you for the new video ❤😊
Bean salad looks amazing, will make a couple of edits because will use fresh green beans and corn along with soaked beans (overnight soak) but can't wait to try it! Eating out of the garden can't be beat!
I love potato salad so much and yours looks perfect! I am like your kids , I can go get a bowl of it anytime. All of your recipes are making me drool. So yum. Enjoy
Such great recipe ideas! My Grandma always put whipped cream in her potato salad and it was luscious! I can't wait to try your bean salad with OJ! 😋 Thanks Jenilee!!! ❤❤❤
I like watching your videos because of your food. I just finished watching one of your videos where you said your the the homemaker guru. I am sorry but you are not. It is great you can afford to stay home and bring up your children with both parents. I find my mother was a guru in the home even though she worked several jobs
I’m not sure which video you are referencing, but homemaking skills can be honed in whether you work outside the home part of the day or not. Jenilee IS the guru or ”teacher” in her home, just as your Mom was in yours. No need to be negative in either situation. So glad you had a Mom you could look up to and learn from, just as Jenilee’s children have in her. Sounds like these two Moms are/were both hardworking mothers with their home and children’s interest and care in mind.

I love listening to you narrate your videos. Such a sweet demeanor and talented storyteller.

I would like to try the bean salad but would I ever have to cut it down, bc I am the only one in my family that would even try it.
Yea it's a huge batch. You could try to cut it in half. You would have to omit some cans of beans.
