    is the due date a stern due date? or what happens if you submit the application a day late? also how long does this application usually take to fill out ? thank you.

      Hello! The CSU deadline has been moved to Dec. 4th and from what I am aware, it is a hard deadline. Some campuses may consider applications after the fact but I would consider submitting by the deadline to make sure you are safe. In general, the application takes 2-3 days to complete but can be done quicker if you follow all the instructions I have for this video :) I hope this helps!

    Hello. I was planning to apply to two programs at my university and when I clicked to add the second program today (it's due tomorrow), a message popped up and read "For this application, only one program may be selected for this campus. You have already paid for Business Administration - (Online) so you may not select another program for this campus." So does that mean I was only able to apply to one program for the fall semester or is there a way to start a new application for the second program? Am I able to create a new account?

    Hey man, I'm currently trying to submit my application but it won't let me. I have completed all of the sections on the "My Application" tab, but when I go to "Submit Application, the green bar just falls short to reach full and it won't let me submit. Please help!

      Hi Nick! Sorry for delayed response. Which quadrant is not completely green yet? When you're on the "my application" page you should see 4 quadrants. Each quadrant will have a number that tells you how many sections there are and how many you have completed so far. That is a really good to see what you have left to complete.

    Hi Tony, I am an international student and I have to report my IELTS test scores on my Cal State Application, however, I don't see an option to submit my IELTS test score in the 'Standardized Test' section. So where do I upload my IELTS test score on my Cal State Application?

    • @collegesupportnetwork7207
      @collegesupportnetwork7207  3 года назад +1

      Hello, the option to add IELTS scores should be on the Standardized Tests page. If you can't see it then you need to go back to your profile (top right of the page) and make sure you marked yourself as an International student.
      Click on your name on the top right --> click on Extended Profile --> Scroll down and select yes for international student.

    • @gettingintocollege8857
      @gettingintocollege8857 Год назад

      @Prakriti Poudel The reason you likely did not see any programs is because of the time of year you were looking at the application. For example, which semester are you looking to enter the CSU? Fall, or Spring? Also, what is your major? I went into CSU Apply and changed my status to International Student to see if I could add programs. Let me know if you'd like some more pointers or if you have other questions.
      Also, are you applying straight out of high school or community college?

    Hi,
    I am trying to submit my CSU app but it is not actually letting me. Of the quadrants i have not finished academic history, the last 2 i have left to finish are colleges attended and GPA entries. However i have not attended any colleges and if i can be honest with you, i am clueless on what to do now lol pls help

    • @collegesupportnetwork7207
      @collegesupportnetwork7207  3 года назад

      Hello! That's a great question. If you have not attended any colleges (including community colleges) you'll want to make sure that you answered the questions correctly in your "Extended Profile."
      When you are in the application, click on your name on the top right. From there click on "Extended Profile" and you should see a question that asks "Have you taken and earned college credits through a community college or university?" Make sure that this answer is no. If it isn't, once you change it you should be good to go! Let me know if this works for you.

    I am trying to apply for the Spring 22 intake, but I can't find any filter/ option to select the spring term. please help.

    • @gettingintocollege8857
      @gettingintocollege8857 Год назад

      I know the window to apply for Spring 22 is long gone, but for those doing this in the future, on the initial page where you click apply you have to make sure you are choosing the proper entry term and that you are within the window to apply. The CSU makes it a bit difficult to get the timing right to apply for Spring. Many times they don't let you know until August 1 if they are accepting Spring admission, then sometimes they only accept Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) students. Then the deadline is August 31.
      Take a look at the campuses and majors that to this day (November 9, 2022) are still accepting Spring 2023 admission. Channel Islands, Chico, Maritime, Sacramento, San Bernadino, San Francisco, San Jose, and San Marcos are still accepting. The majors span from Business Administration, to Nursing, Sociology, Criminology and Justice Studies.

    I am currently applying for transfer and am inputting my college coursework. I inputted one of my courses, CD40, but don’t know what to select as the subject since there is no “Child Development” option. Should I select “Special Topics” or “Child Psychology” ?

    • @collegesupportnetwork7207

      Hi Leslie, if the course had a strong emphasis on psychology/social behavior, then I would put it under child psychology. If it was a general child development class I would just put it under special topics.

      @collegesupportnetwork7207  3 года назад

      Hi Kailyn, to add community college courses you will include the classes under "College Coursework" in the Academic History Quadrant. Before you can add the class you need to add the college in the "Colleges Attended" section. That section notes, "First-time Freshman Applicants: report all college coursework while enrolled in high school. Then, you must manually match college courses with the appropriate A-G category in the A-G Matching section." I hope this helps!

    • @collegesupportnetwork7207
      @collegesupportnetwork7207  3 года назад

      Hi Jackie! I'm glad you find the videos helpful. For academic renewal courses, it depends if you are applying as a transfer student or not. Will you be applying as a freshman or transfer?

    • @jackieg8266
      @jackieg8266 3 года назад +1

      @@collegesupportnetwork7207 I’m applying to transfer. I added all the attempts for each course but a bit confused because only the passing grade is supposed to count. The courses still show on my transcript but it’s noted that the course is repeated and doesn’t count towards gpa. However, I don’t know if it’s right to exclude those attempts on the application.

    • @collegesupportnetwork7207
      @collegesupportnetwork7207  3 года назад

      @@jackieg8266 Hi Jackie - I am not too familiar with the transfer process but from what I understand you need to include all courses into the "college coursework" area, even repeated/previously failed courses. You can find more information here: www2.calstate.edu/apply/transfer/Documents/transfer-application-guide-21-22.pdf on pages 23-27. I believe you are supposed to report previously failed courses as "RP" and then the newest course as "AR." If you are currently repeating the course then only the old grade will be reported.

    • @gettingintocollege8857
      @gettingintocollege8857 Год назад

      The most accurate thing to do in this instance if you are a transfer student is to enter the course as usual, but in the section for grade, enter AR for academic renewal, and in the event you ever retake a course to get a better grade you would put RP which signifies a repeated course. This way the gpa is not affected. It will say "None" is the CAS grade section. I hope you're already into the program you were applying to.

      There is going to be a place in the Academic History section for High School Coursework where you enter your grades. Just enter them as they happened for each semester. Enter your Course Title, Course Type, Grades, and click the green check mark. The campus(es) you are applying for will know you retook the courses because they will see them twice. Good luck...moreso good applied effort for the remainder of the year.
