Hi. We will be on route to Caleta on 24 Dec for Christmas and New Year. Grateful if you could tell me what to expect in terms of places open for business at that time of year.
Thanks for the video, but I don’t think you’ve missed a lot more of Caleta de fuste, there’s another entertainment area including the Slap n tickle, millennium bar, kings, flower to Scotland and Saranda. Lots of places to go. There are a number of bars that go on late into the night, so get yourselves there. Enjoy.
Great video, although can I just point out Pieros’s is not just a Karaoke bar, they have live shows every night from 9pm which you have missed out on by not going out till 11 pm, next time go a bit earlier and check out the shows they are fantastic
Can you advise any good airb&b apartments in Corralejo as would like a long term rental, not to much of a walk and no hills. Pushing on a bit but do like nightlife and Music Square.
Thanks for the vid, I'm staying in Caleta in November for a cheap holiday then again in March at my cousins apartment nearby. Last time I stayed in caleta was year 2000 lol. We usually stay in corralejo and hire a car and come to caleta for the day, so will be nice to see the difference. Though I do love the cocktail bars in Corralejo!
We are in the Broncemar now, its very nice, we came here last year as well and it was the first hotel we ever came to when we first came here 11 years ago
Hi Guys, Stayed in that hotel a decade ago, looks a a lot better since upgrade, the town was fairly laid back then, but it looks so empty for peak season,a one horse town, won't be back😎
It is a lot quieter than Corralejo, but it’s still a nice town to visit for a quiet, more chilled style of holiday. The aim of this video is not to put people off, we just had a lot of people asking what was there so we went out and filmed our experience 😀
David & Izzy - videos you do together are definitely getting better - think you are getting used to the camera Izzy - seem more chilled with it. Loving the content - Shaun
If you look for a bar called the flower of Scotland, a couple of road across from the broncemar, it’s in a commercial centre and there are a loads of bars there. There are also lots of good restaurants near that commercial centre like fado rock and el patio. Overall a quiet resort, but there are some other livelier bars to go to. Great video, well done. I’ve checked out the Corralejo videos as well. Thank you.
Pieros, always busy. Drag acts and singers are fab. It's a lot cheaper to stay in Fueste than corralejo too for some reason. Thanks for another good video. Hope Harry is doing ok in Europe. x
Yeah I saw the adverts for drag acts but didn’t know when they were! I guess cheaper as quieter, I think it’s warmer down there though! Harry is good thanks, on the way back to England for a few days today 😀
It's OK, we stayed at the barcelo a few years ago but we rented a cat and drove up north... any updates on the airports checking covid status as I have heard its fairly random to say the....
Much prefer Caleta, peace, quiet, tranquility, nice people, I just enjoy going out for a nice meal and a glass of wine, and there are certainly a few nice restaurants to visit, I'm passed the the days of crazy nights out, you can always have a meal and a dance in Algo mas in the golf club twice a week, there's also a typically Spanish bar and restaurant opened recently called La lola in the centre of Caleta opposite 15 restaurant, I could go on as there are plenty more places to go ,it really depends what you're looking for in a holiday x
Completely agree with you, we love going down to Caleta too for a more peaceful time. Didn’t know about some of these places so we’ll add them to the list to check out when we’re down there next 😀 Thanks!
We walked past a place a few times when we were there in November last year. It seemed to be a disco / nightclub sort of place. No idea what it’s like as we didn’t go in. It was called Discoteca bambu. Apart from that and the places you mentioned I’m not aware of any real lively places. I didn’t realise Pierro’s was a karaoke place. We couldn’t get a seat in it when we were there, it was packed every night. I don’t like karaoke so I didn’t miss much then.
Yeah it’s a karaoke bar like Flicks except more of a cafe, they advertise themselves as a music cafe, whereas Flicks is more of a discoteca/nightclub karaoke bar
It isn't a karaoke bar, they do karaoke after their shows, also on the other side of the alley also owned by Pieros live singers sing there. I think you need to to a bit of research Nomad before making your video's
Im just back 4 days ago......there's a lot more than that area.....get yourself to legends, slap and tickle, trafalgars, flower of scotland and if your looking for somewhere really nice to eat.....try El patio.....foods brilliant
Smokehouse does a great cheap breakfast! If your looking for entertainment 'Millennium Bar'(opposite Fado Rock downstairs) is always very busy and 'Legends Bar' is great for 60s Music!x
Thanks for that, I'm in Caleta de Fuste in December for four weeks before two months in Corralejo, don't know if I'm staying near that shopping center but it looks okay even for an old duffer like me 🤣, but I don't think I could keep up with your rock n roll lifestyle, "bingo" 😂😂😂
Great video but what I would say is just make sure you get your facts right. Having been to caleta a large number of times, 3 this year all ready, smokehouse is NOT a karaoke bar but entertainment venue with good bbq style food too. It has live music most days
It’s true, I should have made it more clear that, that was my first thoughts with no previous knowledge about the place! Apologises for that. Thanks for watching 😊
I must have stayed in Broncemar some 10 times over the years, but all before the upgrade. Seems to have improved really a lot! Caleta is kinda boring indeed, the nice thing is that’s so central on the island, so a good home base when driving all over the island. Except for restaurants I never experienced any nightlife there 😛 Check out ’The Cave’ (opposite Fado Rock restaurant) next time, it is a nice place for a drink and a pizza.
We love Broncemar! It’s really nice now, you should go back! It has its place as a more quiet resort 😀 Thanks for the recommendations I’ll keep that in mind for next time! 👍🏻
There are nine bars just two streets away from where you were filming. All on the same street. It’s a three minute walk from revival bar to the spirit bar and seven bars in between 🥴
Been 3 times and that's probably my maximum to be honest. Broncemar is pretty decent if busy, v good animation team. Avoid Caleta Gardens Hotel, an absolute dump!
Have you guys ever been out in Caleta de Fuste?
Hi. We will be on route to Caleta on 24 Dec for Christmas and New Year. Grateful if you could tell me what to expect in terms of places open for business at that time of year.
YES its great
Does Caleta de Fuste have nightclubs?
Yeah I was there at the end of September it was amazing I loved it and I went to pieros practically every night
Thanks for the video, but I don’t think you’ve missed a lot more of Caleta de fuste, there’s another entertainment area including the Slap n tickle, millennium bar, kings, flower to Scotland and Saranda.

Ahh awesome! Thanks so much for that 😀
Just back from a 12 day holiday there . Pieros was great only complaint it was impossible to get a seat!
Great vid going in September again about the 10th time great restaurants xx
Enjoy it, Neil!
Thanks for your video to u both , good information
Thanks for watching!
Can you advise any good airb&b apartments in Corralejo as would like a long term rental, not to much of a walk and no hills. Pushing on a bit but do like nightlife and Music Square.
Hi William, I don’t know of anything like this I’m afraid!
Good stuff! Enjoy it, you’ll just have to flip it round and travel to corralejo for a day this time instead 😁
We are in the Broncemar now, its very nice, we came here last year as well and it was the first hotel we ever came to when we first came here 11 years ago
Ahh cool! Hope you enjoyed it 😊

Glad you had a good one!
Thanks for the tour,David and Izzy.
Including coming with wife and children must have been to Fuerteventura twenty odd times.
Always to Corralejo
Corralejo is still the best one ☝🏻 😀
@@NomadBrothersTravel There is something about the place that keeps me coming back.

I was under the impression that "quiet" was the goal for ermote islands.

Ahh thanks Shaun! Really appreciate that 😀
Another boss vlog David 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Have visited Caleta many times when stayin in Corralejo , a nice place to chill 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Rented a cat😂😂 as for the airports, yes I’ve heard the checks are now at random!

Corralejo is fantastic fella
I won the bingo the last time I was there and Izzy came soo close this time😂😂
Try Rio Calma in Costa Calma David. It’s a beautiful hotel
I’ll put that on the list!
Irish bar is outrageously expensive - we found a good market & friendly cheap Argentina?? bar I think
I’ll keep an eye out next time 😀
Try legends,millennium, saxaphone
I m in corralejo but the night in the streets there is no one
July & August is always very quiet
there was band on really good doin queen freddy mercury

The chad caleta de fuse enjoyer
I agree with what Leigh said . Don't like Caleta. Give me Corralejo any day . But understand you wanting to go somewhere different 🙂
You MUST go to Flower of Scottland.
I must have stayed in Broncemar some 10 times over the years, but all before the upgrade. Seems to have improved really a lot!

That’s the bar I got my mobile phone stolen. Love the resort but I stay clear of that venue.
We only went for the day, it was nice on the front but the town seemed a bit run down, preferred Correlejo 😎
I do prefer corralejo which i why i of course live here, but Caleta is nice in its own way too - for one it’s a lot more green! 🌲😀
been to caleta lots but rather be corralejo .
Caleta is nice in its own way, as we said in the video! But yes we love corralejo 👍🏻
Been 3 times and that's probably my maximum to be honest. Broncemar is pretty decent if busy, v good animation team. Avoid Caleta Gardens Hotel, an absolute dump!
Ooh thanks for the advice, Andy!
Nice place but too much dogs poop and smokers.
no them bars are like loudest bars lol u avnt missed anythin i
Too quiet for me. Prefer Corralejo.
I agree!
@@NomadBrothersTravel theres one very small night club there. By Scullys, in Google will come up.
Sorry David don’t like caleta and karaoke is my worst nightmare 🤷🏼♀️
