Angie is not only an extraordinary talented actress/director/filmaker but she is also an incredibly beautiful person inside and out. This elegant lady is into charity and proactive about social justice. I am a huge fan!!!
I watched early this morning and was incredibly moved by this movie. It was beautifully written and produced. Angelina Jolie, executed her role as Maria with absolute perfection! I hope she wins an Oscar for this performance because it’s well deserved.
this movie made me cry. Angelina was graceful and raw in this movie. She took this bigger than life person and showed us the small breaks on the surface but those breaks were deeeep. Amazing script, amazing direction and acting from EVERYONE in the movie.
I just saw this film, wish I could say something nice about it but it was literally one of the most disappointing studies in bad lip syncing, voice dubbing and bad acting I’ve ever seen. The cinematography was also lackluster and resembled a bad music video of a mishmash of different aesthetic styles that seemed like some kind of throwback to the 90s MTV era. Pablo’s directing was really lackluster, and it seemed like there was so much bad footage, the entire movie had to be edited down significantly to hide all the defective acting. I’ll be much more interested in watching the movie Angelina directed with Salma Hayek…😅
@ pablo did a good job with Spencer - that film was well done, well acted- this one was a horrible mediocre film 😬. I imagine this film is only getting publicity for the Oscar due to Stephen knight’s collaboration with Pablo - no one would say this film was an example of good acting- it was a horrible farce despite the surface aesthetics. Lady Gaga would’ve made this film incredible- Angelina is disappointing in this film- not her best work

@ I’m just assessing the movie, I don’t care about Angelina’s personal life. She’s good at playing spies, psychopaths and seductresses. Her attempt at the portrayal of a nuanced character fell flat, so much worse by her bad lip syncing. Pablo’s right, you can’t fake opera singing by simply moving lips, the dubbing of her voice and also the fake theatre voice Angelina uses throughout in the film turns people off as inauthentic, pretentious and cliche. Steven wright’s usual good writing couldn’t save this terrible film no matter how many troll farms the publicity team hires to try to write good reviews of this movie…

Funny I watched it too and I don’t share your view. It is really good and the casts were wonderful. Maybe I missed something…Like to story. Well done!
