somebody must have removed all the snags and fallen trees i encountered on my canoetrip from hay to balranald back in september 1982. it took me five days crawling over snags full of snakes and dragging the old canoe. the bidggee was a sorrowful rivulet back then. but still it was adventurous trip i have fond memories of.
Snags is why i avoid this river.
Love your camera work. Great video
Great video. Love the variety of shots. Realise how much work that would have been, very much appreciated 💪
ok, you've convinced me... the 'bidgee is a go-er! I just sat here watching your video with a grin on my face the whole time, lol!
The Gundagai to Wagga Wagga section is probably the easiest to start with. It is nice water (even when low) and has the the nicest campsites (and less mud).
@@auntymonkey01 haha, yes... I watched the Wagga to Narrandera video last night 😳 so that's where I got the idea that mud defines the Bidgee! Oh well, I'm hoping there's still a lot more water than that in it when I take off!
Been inspired by watching your videos, got my kayak and about to do this leg from gundagai to wagga in the morning 🌄
Good luck. I hope to get back and do that leg or the leg to Narrandera again in a few months.
@@auntymonkey01 made it to oura tonight, so many birds 🐦 the trip has been perfect.
Great photography. I've driven through this area so many times, and it is amazing to see it from a different perspective.
wooow, amazing vidio, thanks you for sharing
Stunning visuals Andrew. Hoping to start an adventure of the whole Murray in September. Will be glued to your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that water sure was moving nicely! If only it did that down this way too.
Yes it was a pleasant change from having to hike down the river :-)
Another gorgeous video Robbo! You really make me want to give this a crack!
Great video, thanks. Do you remember what the water level was when you did this paddle?
2.8m at Gundagai realtimedata.waternsw.com.au/
Beautiful video. Many thanks for sharing. Very inspiring. Any crew members with you for this trip?
No. Completely solo.
Amazing videos and footages.
Did you fly the drone off from your kayak?
@@fookcheetam6390 Yes. It takes a lot of practice to be able to catch the drone while moving down the river
Warning the exit at the caravan park in wagga got a bit messy, SUNK into waist deep mud YUK
Thanks for the heads up. The Bidgee certainly does mud well. That exit has always been a bit dicey. Wagga Beach is always a nicer option.
