wow 100k professor? i remember when you had less than 10k and you recommended KMC sleeves i went out and bought some and boy that certainly was not a miss. I'm so glad i could watch this channel thrive. I'm glad i can be a patron even if its only a little bit. the enthusiasm a lot of the content makers provide for this community is awesome i'm glad to have been a part of this. +dannyzep92 Me the same, I started playing modern just one month after I learnt how to play when I saw the positive review of the profesor about the modern event deck. What a good purchase it was, Im not playing that deck right now, but I have it sleeved up and I play it from time to time and it helped me a lot learning the format, and was an enjoyable deck.
Also other products like Kmc sleeves, dragonsheld sleeves, now I doublesleeve, the elves deck I have now, and hundreds of hours of great videos he gave us, thanks profesor, you deserve those 100K

Getting your face openly on screen was the best decision you could ever made. The moment instantly made the channel from a review channel to a very personal and charming channel. Bravo to you sir! Your patreon income is well deserved!
The reason people are so blown away that you haven't seen Star Wars yet is because it was the movie that changed the ways movies are made almost more than any other in history. It is also pretty standard for people who are into sci-fi, fantasy, or just any geeky interests tend to enjoy Star Wars. Similar to Citizen Kane, you should definitely check out Star Wars someday, but I agree that you shouldn't do it because everyone is prodding you... just see it out of creative interest, if nothing else. If you watch it considering it came out in 1977, it is a pretty amazing accomplishment, just on a technical level, if nothing else. The real trick is trying to watch the theatrical version and not the tweaked versions that Lucas insisted on... I think it cheapened the movie some by adding CGI and other things. See it at your own leisure, but I get it if you never choose to; we write our own autobiographies. ;-)
Your challenge for making each video better and better is something I myself feel. When making videos I'm often not happy with the result, yet the videos are received well by my friends and family.
Professor I have an immense amount of respect for you. I once went to a community college I felt at home. The students were treated as individuals. Now I go to a university, and I'm just another robot on the assembly line. Your students must love you, if you treat them with as much care as you do your videos.

You're the first mtg channel I subbed to. The reason I stuck with magic for so long is due mostly to your teachings, your enthusiasm is contagious. I try to play as much magic the gathering with my close friends whenever I see them.

there are several important reasons why Tolarian Community College has become the single most popular Magic the Gathering channel on You Tube.
1: You're just a really nice guy and very relateable as a person. People like to watch videos where the personality is someone we'd really like to play Magic the Gathering with and learn about the game with.
2. Your channel has a very high level of production value. Most other MTG themed channels are quite crude and basic by comparison to yours, you have a theme song, an intro graphic and great style that makes your channel much more approachable then the vast majority of other MTG channels.
3. The content you provide us is very useful and is good at getting people to gain more interest in the game. This is probably the most important factor, what you talk about actually has real world value that helps players of all levels. Your "Is it worth it" series is exceptional and gives great insight into if or if not the products we might be buying are worth the money re spend on them or not.
Those are just a few examples there are other reasons, but those are the three major ones that really draw others to your channel that other MTG RUclipsr just aren't able to do (yet). Keep up the good work and keep making this channel the outstanding channel it has become, I look forward to almost every video you post.
Star Wars is a great film, but you know what, there are a hundred films better then it, maybe not by much, but that are better, including the Academy Award Winner from that year; Woody Allen's Annie Hall (fantastically well directed, well acted, and hilarious romantic comedy that is so fun to watch, it's worth watching by almost anyone of any movie taste).

Well, this is what i have to say, you deserve to have so many subs, you are the most entertaining to watch, and provide so many thought provoking -or theory inducing- thoughts about deck builds and such. You bring to the table constant high quality reviews on product we all want to see reviewed. Just over all you have such an awesome aura of enthusiasm that keeps me coming back to the channel for more and more....i would be very interested to see how a normal class of yours goes! right now im a student in college and my boyfriend is working in his career and we just started to get into magic and really enjoy and bond over your videos. thank you for showing us on how cards really can be sentimental to others, not just because of the chance of them rising up, but also on how we love playing a certain card or the memory of when and where you pulled it and such. but also thank you for showing us that enthusiastic players is a real type!

Grats on 100k, you really deserve it. The amount of passion and work you put into your videos for the game that you love is apparent right from the get go, and I think that's why your channel just continues to grow at the rate that it does.
At least that's why I subscribed a while back, and I wasn't even someone that was really into magic, though I have played and enjoyed it in the past. I was trying to figure out the better card related products to help me organize and manage a card game that I have been working on and your reviews greatly helped out with that.
It's never too late in life to become a 'greenie' again. I spent many years bouncing around, studying computer programing, working in emergency medicine, touring as a professional musician and so on, only to go back for another degree, this time in organismal biology. Now, working on a graduate degree in marine biology/ecology, I could not be happier with where my life has taken me, and where I am currently, waiting for the next adventure! Never let your passion for the natural world leave you, even if it isn't your profession.

hey Prof, as someone who does play on GPs and Opens You are actually the kind of person I am glad to play in a Competitive tournament, after a lot of rounds of stress and fighting it out, it's completely refreshing to get to play against someone in the tournament that is still playing for fun even in the later rounds.

dude you are the best because you are honest, open and always posting not just videos but good videos. Very few others can say that. U have been almost non stop for a while and its shut out other youtubers because of the quality of these videos. There is a reason people love that playmat.

Congratulations, profesor! Here's three reasons why I think your channel stands out and totally deserves the 100k:
1) You are sincere and open to your audience and never hesitate to question shoddy products or some of WoTC's more controversial bussiness practices. Not only that, but you explain WHY you think that way.
2) You always have the average player in mind: You totally get that most people aren't super competitive while most other magic channels focus solely on the competitive and financial aspects of the game.
3) It's fun! The little skits are great, your humor is mostly great, and things like the Booster Box Game are just so fun and interesting to watch.
Anyways, congratulations and keep up the good work!

So good to here you talk about geography as a carrier, I stumbled onto it while doing my ge's and immediately switched from an anthropology major to geo. It's an amazing experience and if anyone's interested I heavily recommend it!

When I play at FNM I use an assault formation deck that is incredibly fun to play, and play against, it would be amazing if there was more people with your enthusiasm for the game.
