I think you guys are in a room that was once for the disabled, and got renovated with some of those features being removed, and the room ended up being used as a regular one. I am disabled and had to use an 'accessible' room a few times, and things like the low toilet are usually features of them (it's low so you can slide off your wheelchair onto it). BTW I'm from Chicago and my grandmother used to live next door to Al Capon - he'd take her grocery shopping during the Depression, since no one had had money or food then, and, he'd walk her to go vote (her husband was a traveling salesman, and Capone said a lady shouldn't ever have to walk alone). My grandmother said, "he was a very, very nice man who really cared about people, and helped so many - people made him out to be something he was not". Love your videos!

Exactly why I stay downtown only! I remember winning $350 there on a quarter machine in 1983. Made my day back then! Back then it was only $25 to stay and I was only a poor 23 year old then. It’s a great place to go!
I love all the prostitutes that are available throughout the large casino! Not quite as good as on the strip, but they cost less and there's a wide variety!!
I've stayed at the 4 Queens many times throughout the years. Sure, the rooms are smaller, older and nowhere near as luxurious as the properties on the strip, but the location on Fremont St, no resort fees, their restaurants, make it a good deal. You didn't mention much about your meal at Hugo's but it's worth mentioning that it's not an ala carte type restaurant. Everything is included in the price of entree (salad, side, etc).
I love all the prostitutes that are available throughout the large casino! Not quite as good as on the strip, but they cost less and there's a wide variety!!
My wife and I always stay at the Nugget, but I have been eating at Hugo’s Cellar for 50 years! Thanks for all you and Greta do to keep us excited about visiting Vegas in the future!
Stayed there a couple of years ago. Room was clean and comfortable. You really can’t beat the location downtown, and the fact that there’s NO RESORT FEES is a major bonus. It’s actually the only casino that we won any money at during our whole trip. If you sign up for a players card, they send you discount and free stay coupons in the mail for future visits (like the majority of the casinos). We will be staying there again during our next trip.
Kathleen I think there's maybe a half-dozen hotels in LV that don't have resort fees, and this is one of them. I've never stayed there myself, but then again I haven't been to LV in 20 years. 😉
@@tiffanyc8307 We used to say it's cuz The $trip is high maintenance; showgirls, fountains and tigers and such. Downtown casinos are strictly business and they know burning up money is a waste. They can pay out better to attract hard core gamblers.

Hammer has pulled me up on stage 3 times. 3 different shows. On the 3rd show, I ACTUALLY PRANKED HIM!! I approached him after the show and thanked him very much. Took some pics with my girls phone. That led into this... Casually, I say, can I get my phone back bro? ( he had taken it during the show as part of his act) He's like, oh, damn, i didn't give it to you? No. I say. Dude believes me!!!! He has 3 staff guys look for it!!!!!! I only let it happen for a minute when i tap him and say, can i get a pic with you? He says sure and it still doesn't register until I snap the pic!!! He turned red and said, dude thats the 1st time a guest has gotten me that bad! Love the guy. Great show! Thanks for the video Pomp!
4 queens is my go-to hotel in Vegas. The staff treat you like family. And you cannot beat the prime rib dinner special at Magnolia's. Plus the proximity to ALL the things to do on Fremont can't be beat. Thanks Pompsie for this review!
I love staying at the Four Queens! No resort fee. When I'm not staying on The Strip, I stay at the Four Queens on Fremont Street every time! It's a 3 Star hotel so what do you expect? The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is great!

The hotel was built in the 1960's but the rooms have been renovated. The rooms are small but clean. The location is great! The Four Queens sits on Fremont Street in Downtown Vegas so you're right in the middle of the action! If you've never been to Vegas before, Downtown Las Vegas is NOT the Las Vegas Strip, where the newer modern hotels and casinos are located! It's the original Las Vegas.

Around 2009, maybe 2010?? I went to Fremont Street to attend a New Years celebration hosted by Oscar Goodman and saw Kiss play. Great crowd, it was out in the street and wall to wall people. Went into 4 Queens to use the restroom, sat down at a slot and won $50 first pull. So 4 Queens is a fun memory of a perfect night.
As a man your great grandfathers age, I think you video editing is especially good. You have a great knack or art in doing it. Pleases, keep it up and tell us your stories!
My wife and I honeymooned in Vegas in 2010; we had been there several times before, staying at the Wynn, Venetian and Aria - she is a bit of a 5 star princess 😁. I booked our hotel for our honeymoon trip… at the 4 Queens. Tears were shed, rooms were upgraded, and amazingly we are still going strong 12 years later 👍. Like most Fremont Street hotels, 4 Queens is fine for a drunken weekend and such - not recommended for honeymooning 😉
I’ve never had the urge to stay at Four Queen’s Hotel, but have made a point to dine at Hugo’s Cellar a half dozen times, or so, as it’s got a nice aura about it, and great food & service. Definitely a “highly recommended” place that I just did recommend to someone on my plane ride to Vegas. (Yes, I am presently, here.). The rose 🌹 is a sweet and memorable touch, and the table side salad creation is phenomenal. I never had a bad meal there. I also like the complimentary dessert. Nice touches, overall.🥰
Friends had tickets for one of the shows at four queens,enjoyable ,we were staying at the venetian, good background p&g, nostalgia, still working on coming over to the capital of the USA, Las Vegas .
We love the queens. it's a perfectly tacky dive, but we've never had a bad stay, and Hugo's service and food is top notch. The location is perfect too.
My friend's father, a long time resident of Las Vegas, took us to Hugo's Cellar for dinner during my first visit to the city. Wonderful experience. We had some drinks at the Chicago Brewing Company before dinner, and after played craps. Great to see a video about it.

Chicago Brewing is my favorite place to eat but I always struggle with getting the Chicago style pizza or the chicken tenders. Four Queens has one of the best players clubs in Vegas too. Just remember to bring ear plugs when you stay, as the Fremont Street music plays loud and long into the night. Pompsie, glad to see you gave it a fair shake. Many people would dismiss the place as being too plain for a Vegas stay. But you nailed it when you said this is a place for those who don't spend a lot of time in the room. And there is so much to see and do around Fremont Street you won't be killing time watching TV (unless you've blown your bankroll). LOVE THE NO RESORT FEE!!!!!

Been staying at the 4 Queens 1 or 2 times a year since 2005. Can't say I have ever had a bad experience. Staff is always super nice. If you ever need any info or a taxi or car service ask for Steve at the Bellhop desk. Wonderful guy. Not only do they not charge a resort fee there is a coffee maker and fridge in each room. Yes the bathrooms are small but clean. Magnolias is very reasonable especially if you have a players card. They also will print your boarding passes at the registration desk at no charge. Sometimes it is the little things. If noise is a problem ask for a room in the south tower. Or one that is away from the street. I stayed on the 19th floor of the north tower in 2019 and was listening to the electric slide a 2am. Heading back next week. Oh and the Mob Museum is great if you like history. Going to check out the speak easy this time.😁
Reason I love the 4 Queens... I've played craps there probably 2 dozen times, I have yet to leave with a loss. Always a great, fun loving crowd, very down to Earth and super friendly staff.
Stayed at the Queens, the room was simple, but we were rarely in the room!!! Enjoyed the Food, atmosphere, everything about downtown, it was easy to get around to other casinos, and even went to the strip for an evening, would stay there again
4 Queens is normally my go to! It's a great value, the casino is big and fun, it's pretty centrally located on Fremont street. You don't get blown away by the rooms but if you do get a corner suite one, that is really nice!! Overall, 4 Queens is like a home away from home for me. I really like it!
I have stayed their 5 times in the last 4 years and loved every minute of it. A sofa in the room would make it better but with no resort fees and the low cost to stay there more than makes up for it. We always take days and go to Laughlin, Virgin River and spend a day on the strip so it feels like we aren’t even spending that much time in the room. I recommend the four queens to anyone that asks.
Next time you want to stay at the 4Q's, ask for a suite. They have a king size bed, living room and wet bar area and if you have a group, they adjoin regular rooms too.
I stayed there a couple years ago and loved it. The room was dated but clean and comfortable. I loved the classic Vegas feel of the place. I got a room that overlooked the Fremont st Experience which was very cool. And the best part of staying there, other than the free parking and zero resort fees, was the outstanding customer service. Check in was a pleasure because of the very nice lady behind the counter. She worked out getting me the room that I wanted, and made my stay an even better one because of it. The 4 Queens is now my go-to place to stay in Vegas.
Love the video. I have only stayed at Plaza before the upgrade . I love gambling at the four queens casino. Now I would consider staying there for a quick getaway. I love it when you give background on the property. Great job.

Hey Pompsie. We go there 5x a year. The patio bar is my second home. I threw my 40 th b day there and this year will be my 45th. Bday bash. I love 4queens. Even though Hilton Elara is our time share, we still stay there! Good video bro. 😎🥃
Very nice...I worked at the 4Queens for 17yrs from 1988 to 2004. Nice place to work, fun people. You did a great job of spotlighting the place. I'll have to share this video. They've done some renovation since I worked there but it's still the same fun filled place.
Great video! We've never stayed at 4 Queens but have had good meals at both Magnolia's and Chicago Brewing. 4 Queens has 9/6 JOB video poker at the .25 level and, during my last visit, I won $300 [on a slot machine. Nice to know that there's a blues band at The Speakeasy. Great job!
6:58 - That same Mustang is still there since I last been to 4 Queens back in November 2019. I can't believe no one has won it yet since my last visit.

We stayed at 4 Queens about 10 years ago, probably before it was renovated. We had to change rooms to get one not facing Fremont St. Rooms facing Fremont get light and blaring music all night.
Haven’t stayed at the 4 queens but that location is a big selling point, also love the speakeasy at the mob museum I went for my birthday last year and the staff made it memorable

Our most memorable stay was when we were in a "Balcony Room" We loved it. we could see the Zipline riders zip by and could see and hear everything. We r going to request this kind of room again. PS. My favorite video you did was when you two gambled in every casino on the strip. I thought that was pretty cool. Keep up the good work

They had the best Prime Rib I have ever had. My GF was blown away with the atmosphere, food and the wonderful staff! They are the gem of Las Vegas.

First time we ate at Hugo's Cellar was in the 80's. They have never disappointed me in the last 40 years.

4 Queens is normally my go to! It's a great value, the casino is big and fun, it's pretty centrally located on Fremont street. You don't get blown away by the rooms but if you do get a corner suite one, that is really nice!! Overall, 4 Queens is like a home away from home for me. I really like it!
Hugo's was my favorite restaurant in town! Haven't been to LV in a decade and it hasn't changed, glad you enjoyed you trip!
Great video! I'm staying there in the middle of April, so this vlog is definitely making me look forward to it.
I have stayed their 5 times in the last 4 years and loved every minute of it. A sofa in the room would make it better but with no resort fees and the low cost to stay there more than makes up for it. We always take days and go to Laughlin, Virgin River and spend a day on the strip so it feels like we aren’t even spending that much time in the room. I recommend the four queens to anyone that asks.
Next time you want to stay at the 4Q's, ask for a suite. They have a king size bed, living room and wet bar area and if you have a group, they adjoin regular rooms too.
The speakeasy at the mob museum is sweet. It has a secret room also.
I stayed there a couple years ago and loved it. The room was dated but clean and comfortable. I loved the classic Vegas feel of the place. I got a room that overlooked the Fremont st Experience which was very cool. And the best part of staying there, other than the free parking and zero resort fees, was the outstanding customer service. Check in was a pleasure because of the very nice lady behind the counter. She worked out getting me the room that I wanted, and made my stay an even better one because of it. The 4 Queens is now my go-to place to stay in Vegas.

Love the video. I have only stayed at Plaza before the upgrade . I love gambling at the four queens casino. Now I would consider staying there for a quick getaway. I love it when you give background on the property. Great job.

I love the 4 Queens. Room rates are reasonable and it's fantastic to support the only place around with no (&%ing resort fees.

Hey Pompsie. We go there 5x a year. The patio bar is my second home. I threw my 40 th b day there and this year will be my 45th. Bday bash. I love 4queens. Even though Hilton Elara is our time share, we still stay there! Good video bro. 😎🥃
Very nice...I worked at the 4Queens for 17yrs from 1988 to 2004. Nice place to work, fun people. You did a great job of spotlighting the place. I'll have to share this video. They've done some renovation since I worked there but it's still the same fun filled place.
Great video! We've never stayed at 4 Queens but have had good meals at both Magnolia's and Chicago Brewing. 4 Queens has 9/6 JOB video poker at the .25 level and, during my last visit, I won $300 [on a slot machine.

We stayed at 4 Queens about 10 years ago, probably before it was renovated. We had to change rooms to get one not facing Fremont St. Rooms facing Fremont get light and blaring music all night.
Haven’t stayed at the 4 queens but that location is a big selling point, also love the speakeasy at the mob museum I went for my birthday last year and the staff made it memorable

I'm from the uk and have been to the fourqueens twice a year for the last 15 years plus really friendly staff and good gaming.
The room is one where you catch up on sleep and emails between gambling sessions. Speakesy-I liked how they gave you the drink in a book

Our most memorable stay was when we were in a "Balcony Room" We loved it. we could see the Zipline riders zip by and could see and hear everything. We r going to request this kind of room again. PS. My favorite video you did was when you two gambled in every casino on the strip. I thought that was pretty cool. Keep up the good work
