@@siredquinn😂 my vaulting button is square, healing is r1 and so are gens, but there are some interactions where my keybinds are still r1 for multiple inputs and it messes me up. Ex: the traps on Nostromo are still r1, the portals in dnd map used to be r1 but got changed to your keybind for it, I believe removing madness from doctor is still r1, pretty much every killer power action a survivor need to do is also still r1, removing victor, getting a flame turret, opening chests (vecna and regular), disarming trap, you get it there’s a lot they should add to the keybind settings

as someone that plays on switch (yes we exist), i have TRIED to rebind my keys but they don’t have it so you can do specific things like healing with one button and throwing pallets with another. they’re all the same

8:02, if anything, playing other games makes me appreciate dbd less. It's really fun to watch dbd content creators, but it's getting old really quick to play it myself. One advice, if you have rage issues, I highly recommend playing single player titles, there are so many good games out there, you can get busy for years and never look back.

play a game with a more chill pace bc by the time you feel ready to come back you should be able to just have fun again.

As a console player, rebinding my controls was the best thing I ever did. Vaulting and pallet throws are now square on my PS controller, and the other stuff remains R1. Game changer

If you are a default binds console player here is a mostly vanilla rebind scheme that I think is a good blend of comfort and fast reaction:
Run: L1
Crouch: L2
Use item: R2
Drop Item: Circle
Pickup item/gen: Square
Action: R1
Skillcheck: L1
Ability 1: X
Ability 2: Triangle
You will never drop a pallet instead of healing again
I quit it when it became unfun. That was 2022.
I played it again and it was still unfun. That was 2023.
Now I'm waiting for it to be fun to play it again.
I enjoy watching it more it seems after playing it since release up untill 2022.
Ok so since people dont know idk about xbox but for playstation you can change your button maping by going to INPUT BINDING Pickup item Interactions is stuff like disarming traps/ skull merchant drones / healing unhooking etc
Actions are for vaulting dropping pallets

The way I prevented myself from ever getting mad at DBD is by going into every match with the mindset that I'm just going to toy with the Survivors and not care if they get out because I know I jumpscared them at least once (I only play Wraith) 😊

It helps, it must be a PSA to all console players; switch that one button to avoid conflicting actions
for the person who asks how to get over raging over dbd, stop playing win oriented and just try to enjoy the experience, same goes with life. Still you will face with disconnecting teammates, t-bagging survivors because you lose but then it is time to become friend with your opponent, usually can turn into a real fun deal.

and she is the most hated and has got the biggest nerf in dbd history cos she is dogshit
Bro you were so far from the game... This is literally the killer coming out after you stopped, and one of the worst of them all, and everyone shouted so loud about that my walls were shaking X)
Happy first contact with the Skull Merchant ! A try to integrate Cyberpunk to DBD, but with her lame design, a problematic power, and an ok lore (honestly I think People are hard on that, but you need to understand cyberpunk rootly for that), she is the most hated of all DBD (even more thanreleased Spirit) !
Also called Chess Merchant, her original power allowed her to put drones near gen and to 3 gen like crazy, telling her every time a Survivor entiers the drone radius. Some said it was like chess, that you need to plan your moves since the beginning and defend your position, I call that taking the game hostage for 1 hour until the servers close and that you win... The unfairest, boringest, cringest way.
Fortunatedy she got fixed quickly! Unfortunately it wasn't quickly and she wasn't fixed... At least she couldn't 3gen anymore, but the rework was.. A kind of patchwork between Clown, Legion and Wraith? This was really strange and uninspiring... But at least it allowed you to play normally.
However, the damage she's done were irretrievible, and most survivors would still DC (the gameplay wasn't good anyway so understandable) so she had a whopping 70% of kill rate, which made BHVR nerfed her and now she is unwplayable basically.

Some games are just more enjoyable on some form of controller. I play fighting games with fight sticks, I play old school platformers with the same stick (digital control is superior here), 3rd person action games that *do not* involve any precision shooting (such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne and similar) games are more enjoyable on controllers.
But if you're playing a precision, fast reaction game that requires fast movement and you're using a controller? You're asking to get murdered. I've legit seen people play FPS games like Doom and Doom Eternal, on PC, with a controller.
Why do you people hate yourself?
I sometimes like to play with controller for movement and mouse for aiming, thankfully DbD supports that
Don't listen to Otz and play other games if you want to stay with DbD. If you start you'll realize how bad a game it is and move on to better games.

I think the most annoying thing about the whole "controller players" thing is that there is a button that is unmapped by default, they don't have to play like this but they all do for some reason
Potential ideas for nerfing corrective action to where it should be:
it (invisibly) increases the great skill check zones to be like 2-3 times bigger (actually corrects you just barely missing the great skill check)
5 second cooldown on getting stacks
GETTING A GREAT SKILL DUE TO CORRECTIVE ACTION DOES NOT GRANT A STACK
maximum 5 times per person with the perk, per gen
If you miss the skill check by pressing space early it's a great, if you miss it by not hitting space, it's a good
shouldve been 12 minutes long this week and started with the pizza clip, ending on the "your pizza is ready"
when will console players REBIND. switching actions to R3 and keeping interactions to R1 is so simple yet revolutionary
I have no issues with the bindings on console but I hate that a lot of aiming killers are just janky on controller compared to a mouse
You can always tell when someone playing Blight, Hillbilly or Wesker are on PC cos of the angles they can make

If you think about it, the AFK gen strat is more skillful than doing gens normally because instead of just pressing a single button when the game tells you to, you have to make a friend and convince them to play this dogshit game enough to unlock all the required perks.

i have been playing killer and i realised gens get done VERY fast, like 4 minutes in and 3 gens have popped. I'm running corrupt, surge, eruption, spies. playing dredge and almost always being near my gens, why whenever I commit to a chase for 30 seconds I immediately lose a gen???
A gen takes 90 seconds and there are 4 survivors in a trial. If you chase one, that's a minute and a half before THREE generators are completed, and you complain about more than two times more...
there's nothing like the way the default controller bindings decided to to overlap vault/drop pallet/enter locker with repair/heal/interact but then assign a dedicated button to Hit Skill Check

I have 400 hours so idk much about game balancing, but maybe that could help with those fast gens, it could also be that im bad (probably that)

That's 2 perk slots. They are either not taking dead hard & decisive or windows & lithe etc. So they are easy to chase/tunnel. Problem solved.

The inly problem that console players face is the 50% analog deadzone. It's not more than luck getting hit playing as deathslinger or huntress. They should add a setting to make the deadzone zero and the problem is solved.

You should add info to your FAQ about remapping buttons on console, people not knowing you can do it is far too common, saying that I have one friend I've told to remap stuff countless times and they just ignore me
0:25 i play on PC with a controller but you can literally rebind your buttons so that vaulting and interacting are different buttons, really not sure why BHVR has both on the same button by default.

I wish there was a crouching priority system for console players where you can set it to while you are crouching it would prioritize whatever you have set for it to prioritize if two prompts that require the same button are present, if that makes sense. And no I just checked you can’t rebind healing or killer interactions separately you can only rebind actions which is all of them in one button.

I wonder who thought that corrective action needed a change. Perk worked they way it was suppose to as a safety net.
Console has many issues but the most annoying one that can be changeable but can be hard to get used to is having left and right top buttons being used for most actions. Playing console feels so bad but hey, it is what it is and I can switch to PC now with cross progression but that also can take getting used to.
One day I'll be in the financial position to actually be able to attend TwitchCon. Excited to see you then!
