  • Cry for the Angels - Wolfgang Vedral Video Performance
    In commemoration of the first anniversary of my mother's passing, a beautiful piece by Wolfgang Vedral which for me is an emotional prayer to her. The imperfection and sadness of the moment made me forget a few things including the return of the theme at the end, I dare to hope that Master Vedral will forgive me.
    Thanks for listening!

    Impressive performance! Wow, bravo Blaise!👏👏 I listened to it at least three times. So beautifully played. But it is also a very beautiful composition by Wolfgang in which he has wonderfully captured the mood of melancholy and sadness. And I must also admit: I find your version without going back to the beginning even more convincing.

      Thank you very much for your words Stefan, this is indeed a beautiful work by Wolfgang where pure emotion just flows through. It was my mistake to omit the repetition of the A part at the end, I just figured out once the video was done and uploaded 😅... luckily Wolfgang was forgiving towards me! 🙏

    • @StefanNiggl
      @StefanNiggl Месяц назад

      @@BlaiseLaflamme That wasn't a mistake... if it had been, you would have noticed. The last part feels to me like letting the pain flow through you, taking it in, allowing it, accepting it. It ties in beautifully with the end of the lament. So why repeat the beginning again? The way you play it, it feels absolutely right to me! Wolfgang should think about it again.

    • @BlaiseLaflamme
      @BlaiseLaflamme  Месяц назад

      @@StefanNiggl It was indeed a natural flow of emotion that led to this version without the repetition of the beginning. From a form point of view, Intro-A-B-B-A-Coda produces an interesting mirror effect which would have served the emotional development very well, but it seems that my subconscious decided otherwise! 😅 Thank you again for finding value in my personal version 🙏
