ITALIANS ARE TIRED OF MASS TOURISM

Hi! There are definitely several places in Italy where tourism should be more regulated. For example, there has been talk of limiting the number of tourists who can enter Venice each year (even though we doubt they will actually do it). However, tourism is still one of the biggest contributors to Italy's GDP. The tourism industry directly generates almost 6% of Italy's GDP. And if you take into account the indirect earnings from tourism, the percentage rises to 13%. Italy cannot do without tourists. However, tourism should definitely be more regulated. Have a nice day!
