Thanks for the review. Not sure if it's a stylistic device you use intentionally, but there's a lot of "anyways" in your narration. Keep up the good work!
As far as I can tell, no. That band also does not attach to the inside of the shoe, it is just attached to either side of the tongue. A true mystery.. haha.
Recently 'upgraded' to the Timp 3 from the 1.5 myself and so far I'm not impressed. I found the that they feel a lot tighter across the mid and the toe box compared to the 1.5 and I'm also experiencing heel slippage in the right shoe. Never had any issues with the 1.5 and so far I'm regretting buying the 3.
The Timp 2’s were even tighter. Had blisters and I never have blisters. The 3’s are starting to peel off on the inside :(

Any more updates on the side delaminating issue? I just ordered a pair Timp 3, because LP5 feels to narrow in the forefoot. I’m not pleased to hear about signs of wear that early on!
It has peeled back a little more, but it doesn't seem to affect the structural integrity of the shoe. Still sad that a shoe that costs this much has these cosmetic problems.
I started on the Timp 3s about a ago and I really like them. I wonder how much I will like/dislike the Timp 4s in comparison.
Thanks for the review! Going to stick with the timp2.

Is the elastic used to hold the laces? Thanks for the video.

Yes, the elastic piece is for the laces. I really appreciate that feature.
Thanks. I love my 1.5's in green, but since then theyve gotten way too narrow for my feet. How would you compare the width and upper foot volume?
Very similar to the 2s in that regard. I think if you found the 2s to be too narrow, these will be as well.

The elastic is to hold shoe laces down
How long have you gone in these so far?
Timp 3’s are true to size. Nice shoe but inside rubber is starting to peel off already at 30km in.
