Wow, this might be the best Nightwish vocal cover I've ever heard
Fair play, that was absolutely fu**ing incredible. There’s such a gorgeous depth to your voice 🖤
I love how Floor Jansen added that final high note at the end 10 years ago - it was not in the original studio recording - and now that's just how it's done. It's the expected standard if you want to sing it. And you nailed it.

Had the fortune to get a glimpse of the new Album on their concert at "Das Schloss Rockt" in Münster.
The song was called "My Forever Endevour" and I loved it. It's certainly something to look forward to. ;)

Nele, this was really incredible!!! Amazing!!! And after hearing you live, I'm sure with Elvellon in your back you could do it EVEN BETTER! I say this because the production here was 'not perfect'. You can sing like Tarja AND like Floor and this is amazing... If I may say this, you even look a little bit like FLOOR (the impressions of your face when you sing). Only the position of your arms is different to Floor's. And she is taller :) But seriously, after you signed with Napalm Records I hope for some new music from Elvellon. Last thing I wanted to say: Please tell Maddin that he reminds me a lot of JUKKA (especially on your Spellbound Live EP)! Truly amazing! When I heard your voice with Elvellon for the first time, I couldn't believe everything was sung live. So perfect, I had to ask you more than one time ... but since I saw your vocal skills nine times live already, I knew what you are capable of! This is the ultimate proof for everyone! Well done Nele, definitely up there with the best. After the "originals" by Tarja and Floor, your version and also that of Kristin Starkey confirm that in my mind this song can only be done justice by a female voice! Others have tried, and fallen well short, the only one who might do it justice is Tommy Johansson (not sure if he has covered it?)

Dear Nele, your vocal abilities are really admirable, since I discovered Elvellon I have noticed the great influence that Nightwish and its music have on your musical style! I think you pretty much cover that difficult level of dramatic, powerful soprano voice! Now your future quest should be to find your own identity, leaving those influences behind. I say this with all due respect in my humble opinion.
Thanks a lot for your support on my cover. This one was meant to show where my roots are - and since this is an absolute cliché Nightwish song, their influence can’t( & shall not) be hidden. Never ever will I leave behind what shaped me in the most beautiful way. As an artist I will always do what comes naturally. Everyone -artist or not- is influenced by certain indicators. But be sure that whatever work I will release has my very own identity in it. What one can witness here is pure me ☺️🧡

Sehr, sehr gut Nele!! When I saw this cover I was very much afraid. I really love what you do with Elvellon and I was afraid that this would turn me down. But it is very good indeed! Though in all honesty I think it is not as good as Floor herself (she is more versatile with her voice) you do an excellent job at it! Even the end-scream sounds good!!! My sincere compliments and I really hope to see you live with Elvellon in the future. I would like to add that even though I think Floor is better, I think that your version certainly does stand up to Tarja's!!

Und Du schriebst, dass Du das Cover machen 'musstest', weil Du NIGHTWISH mit FLOOR Wacken 2013 aus der ersten Reihe live verfolgen konntest - bist Du zufaellig auf dem OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO davon zu sehen? Der Begriff “Elvellon” stammt aus dem elbischen und bedeutet so viel wie “Elfenfreund”. Die spanische Übersetzung ist uns ebenfalls bekannt, hat mit unserem Bandnamen aber nichts zu tun.
Bisher habe ich mich noch nicht auf der Nightwish DVD entdeckt. Vielleicht hast du ja mehr Glück 😉

I have had this version in my mind since I heard it. I have been a fan of Nightwish since 2006 and have been a fan of Tarja the same time. I really enjoy Floor's version as well but in my opinion I think your version is the best I have ever heard. I absolutely love it ❤

Naja, abgesehen davon dass die Post ein wenig nachhilft, kommts wohl direkt hinter Floor und Yannis (Yannis auf 2 weil er ein Mann ist (naja und weils besser is)). Dritter platz is ja auch net schlecht. Und hört auf ihr Honig ums Maul zu schmieren, davon hat se nix. Lieber ehrlich sein. :) Auch ja, Tarja kommt erst weit hinter den 3 Erstplazierten. Die kann nur Operette und nichtmal das besonders gut.
Welcher Künstler releast ohne Postproduction?😄 Das wäre wie Produkte anzubieten, ohne sie schön herzurichten😄 Da braucht man sich nicht wundern, wenn sie nicht ankommen. Ich glaube es ist sehr schwierig Tarja zu covern, aber du hast dies sehr gut hin bekommen. Besonders dein Sopran hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich hoffe wir hören bald mal was neues von dir mit Elvellon.
