Great points, totally agree. Way too many people, wayy too much money for all that much not included, and way to early to book that ship.

I wanted to take my wife on this as her first cruise. was researching looking at the options and was about to book. No bs next day my ma messages me that she and my da booked a cruise on MSC meraviglia and asked if we would join. Leaving in April deluxe interior room drinks and wifi package port fees taxes and gratuities 1800 total for me and my wife.
    Il save the other 8200$

As for the Meraviglia, I think I say most of it in those videos. MSC food is ok but everything else is fantastic and you can’t beat the prices.

Yea. I don’t people well… ginormous cruise ships don’t hold appeal for that reason.
At least carnival in the Caribbean is usually smaller ships with places I can hide away from crowds

I would not do this ship…too crowded, too expensive, way too many up charges. Much rather spend my money on several cruises

From what it looks like, there are many neighbourhoods so I don't think overcrowded in a big issue.

Obviously you haven't been on the ship so no first person perspective. Check your medical insurance for the names of good psychologists to help with those nightmares.

I'd rather spend the money on actual multiple cruises that aren't trying to fucking Benjamin me, because this is going beyond just Nickle and Diming!
If I wanted a thrill, I could save the $180, and use it on one of the Central Florida amusement parks instead. $15. That's what that is worth. Maybe $30 if I'm feeling generous.
Hell, for $3000, I could buy MULTIPLE annual passes! Not to mention I'd rather save it for travel, housing, and food expenses to somewhere that isn't going to try to gouge me like a piggy bank!
In my mind, this ship is meant for people with too much money, and not enough common sense on how best to spend their money. Maybe they were hoping that they'd scare away families with all of the upcharges?

We look for and find plenty of cruises in the $1500 to $3000 range and that’s room, food and drinks for a week to 11 days. So agreed this ship is insane right now. My brother spent 4000 going to Disney for 5 days with a family of 4.. so I say my prices are pretty good
