To the builders and company who saved this little animals life, you all deserve some great recognition. You did the right thing by this young fox. Even though it costed the company alot of money to wait on construction while Simon came to get him to safety. Your company should be recognized by your city that you work in as having high ethical practices. This story should be something you are all very proud of. Perhaps add it to, if not already, add it to your company's website showing your potential clients that you work with compassion. With as little effect on surrounding wildlife as possible. Cheer to you! Watching this made day. Thank you
With you lifetime of experience you are able to help these animals at record speed and get them to safety!! You sir are such an asset to this world! We all owe you a great dept.
I found WAF channel just few weeks ago and these rescues are just amazing. Thank you for all your hard work in the past and hopefully in the future too!
First reaction was "Nailed it!", then realised you said there were nails in the fence. Good thing it wasn't nailed. But anyway, job well done! Brilliant work mate.
I've been watching for a long time. And the fox rescuses have been my favorite. And look at those teeth! Now I'm finally subscribed and now thinking about donating. 💙🐺🐾
You have quite a character simon LOL, i like it :) caracter + love for animals, its sweet. It really is sweet to see your love and compassion and humour.
Well done! :D Such a lucky fox. But how do they keep getting in these messes? My boyfriend just said it "Curiousity killed the cat? It should be curiousity killed the fox!" Wonderful silly little foxes

Thanks for all you do, you guys are amazing! Subscribed at the first video, my new favorite channel! I want to do more to help animals when I get the chance. -From an animal lover from Fiji :)
The video hasn't been up long, and the counter shows 47 views and *53* likes! Yeah, I know RUclips tends to run late on the counters, but that's still pretty nice.
Likes for the average video tend to run about 10% of the views. Let's show Simon how much we love him! (It's now at 57 views and 140 likes. Hey, maybe we can break RUclips?)
Im giving you guys some advice, i wouldnt upload any videos at the moment until you hit 60,000 subscribers then you can make a little montage that goes for like 30 min for reaching a benchmark :)
+samuigohan Simon always carries a box with him, but didn't feel the need to use it in this particular rescue. We try to always release animals where they are found, which is most likely their territory. It's important to understand that adult foxes must go back to their own territory, even if it's not an ideal site, in our opinion. This chap knows the place very well, as he was more than likely born very close by! As much as we would prefer to, we can't release him in the countryside, or in what we feel is a "better" area, because he wouldn't know where to hunt, where to sleep and would be in trouble!
Foxes look so out of place in the urban environment, surrounded by all that ugly concrete, air pollution, road vehicles, bricks and tarmac. They do seem to thrive in the urban environment, where they take advantage of discarded takeaways, but I reckon they'd be so much happier and healthier out in the countryside, in the woodlands and meadows, feeding on natural food. That said, whilst there are less hazards such as motor vehicles out in the sticks, they may come up against the bloodthirsty hunting brigade who derive sadistic pleasure from their acts of cruelty against defenceless native British mammals.
How embarresing it must be to these foxes who get stuck in the most stupid places, they give a bad name to foxes all around, they are supposed to be smart!

what always surprises me about these videos is that the rescued foxes are often released back into an urban environment. Where I live coyotes are a big problem, there's a lot of them and they have grown to not fear people as much, come into neighborhoods and other urban environments and eat any roaming cat or small dog. We have foxes too, but they are less of a threat compared to coyotes..or raccoons... I don't think there are very many rescue efforts for coyotes here, I'm sure many people who have maybe lost a pet to them would be more than happy to see them all exterminated....
+Chickengirl005 That is a terrible shame about the coyote, but we must not forget they are simply trying to survive in an increasingly hostile world. They face, among other things: habitat destruction (forcing them into urban areas), hunting/human interference and a changing climate, reducing their water and food supply. The UK's urban fox are threatened by cats and dogs (not to mention humans), they often sustain injuries or even death from such attacks. As for coyote attacks against beloved cats and dogs: keep all your pets inside! Problem solved. Cats in particular do so much damage to the native flora and fauna (I live in Australia, where the introduced cat, fox, rat, cane toad and rabbit, in particular, destroy our wildlife), so I believe they should remain inside and, for example, be taken for on-leash walks, for exercise and mental enrichment. Also, if you release a fox (or deer) much farther from where they were found, they will not know where to find food, water or shelter and may be injured or driven off by the animal already living there.
Simon is great, and the builders who stopped their work and called him in are great too. :)

Poor fox.😔😔
Least you know the fox wasn't hurt.
The video hasn't been up long, and the counter shows 47 views and *53* likes! Yeah, I know RUclips tends to run late on the counters, but that's still pretty nice.
right now it has only two additional views but 89 likes ^.^ !

Thanks WAF!
sexy indeed Simon!
Diamond geezer 👍🏿👍🏿
Simon! You forgot your other glove! :O
Lots of fox around there.
We had a sick looking fox lose in the neighborhood and it almost made the news.
You can tell their a good company when they stopped all production just for a fox that got stuck in a hole
Foxes are an introduced species in Australia and are an unwanted pest, kind of weird watching one being saved.
Im giving you guys some advice, i wouldnt upload any videos at the moment until you hit 60,000 subscribers then you can make a little montage that goes for like 30 min for reaching a benchmark :)
Why not take BOTH gloves with you?
good job, but why didn't you bring a cage or a box, and why would you release the animal in a human populated area again??
+samuigohan Simon always carries a box with him, but didn't feel the need to use it in this particular rescue. thank you for the explanation :)

Yeah, the Muslims who derive sadistic pleasure from their acts of cruelty against defenceless native British are an even bigger problem.
And NOBODY is talking about how he said "God that looks sexy" at 1:11 ???
Sexiful Simon🌹 get that Fox
How embarresing it must be to these foxes who get stuck in the most stupid places, they give a bad name to foxes all around, they are supposed to be smart!
Good thing it wasn’t the HSE turning up on that site.
What a junk yard surrounding....

Wildlife Aid
Don't forget your gloves.
6 inch nails?? I thought he was from the uk
It's a generational divide in the UK. My parents were taught inches and ounces etc and I was taught in metric
And I'm just at the generation in the middle,so use both, but mainly metric cos' it's easier.
Oh stop snivelling and get the noose thing already.
