I actually think out of every character we’ve seen so far, Dragon is the one who ticks most of the boxes. Think about it, we still don’t know the origin of his face tattoo, it can be a scorch mark or a burn, and when everyone describes this “man marked by flames” they always mention thunder and tornados that accompany him and his ship, and the only person we’ve seen remotely resemble that is Dragon when he saved the crew from Smoker. I think with him “being useless” the whole story is the nice underlining and sneaky way from Oda to hide such an important character right under our noses

it could be that everything in elbaph is so big because of a similar reason to what happened in skypiea. i remember the south bird turning huge once it had entered skypiea, like what happened to the trees and plants, so that is one similarity. another similarity is the island clouds seen in skypiea and elbaph and also egghead, and seeing as how egghead is 800 years in the future in terms of technology, it could be that the technology from the void century was maybe used on elbaph to make said island clouds (because elbaph and egghead have the same "atmosphere" which is what allows them to have the island clouds). so it could be that when humans started living in elbaph, maybe this time they had better technology and now the humans too became giants, and it became a new race. edit: another reason to back up the fact that they had better technology is stuff like the sun stone making literal rainbows that you can glide on with no friction at all (and there could also be even more things yet to be shown)

Luffy having a literal crown will be dope though as it will also have symbolism as him being The King of Pirates Side thought I think Luffy’s DF full ability will allow him to expand and contract instantaneously…he will be also be able to expand to Ancient giant levels and contract to the size of the dwarf race also, (I don’t remember who for credit but I think someone else had coined Luffy contracting to sizes smaller than his normal as Gear Reverse) and will be able to use that in combat too unlike his gag chibby form, which is just backlash for gear 3 … for somewhat visual examples without getting technical, think Jigen from Boruto being able to expand and contract during his fight with Naruto and Sasuke or Ant-Man

sorry, I had just caught up on the anime, my third time watching completely through, but couldn't wait to finally see Elbaph and had to start the manga. I could've sworn I seen Kid and his crew imprisoned somewhere and his body shape did seem significant larger but it didn't strike me as being old? I don't recall which chapter this was from though. I also recall in one of the most recent manga chapters to date a warning about staying in Elbaph too long from the narrator quoting someone else.

I think the most likely candidate for the man marked by flames is Dragon, however; because of other tid buts of info we know about this man marked by flames, like their possible association with the government, I'm leaning more towards a character that hasn't been introduced yet. Or if we do know them, we haven't seen an actual scar on them, YET! If it WERE in fact Dragon, would they not give the last Road Poneglyph location or the actual Poneglyph to Robin while she spent 2 years with them? But it's Dragon, who knows how his thought processes are working, honestly. I think Saul is going to do exactly what you've said about a power up for Luffy and some historical knowledge about Nika. I wonder if he'll tell us more about the Lost Kingdom and it's name, that would be AWESOME.

sorry, I had just caught up on the anime, my third time watching completely through, but couldn't wait to finally see Elbaph and had to start the manga. I could've sworn I seen Kid and his crew imprisoned somewhere and his body shape did seem significant larger but it didn't strike me as being old? I don't recall which chapter this was from though. I also recall in one of the most recent manga chapters to date a warning about staying in Elbaph too long from the narrator quoting someone else.
I feel like Luffys gear 5 is his hybrid form keeping most of his personality without going through a complete overhaul change maybe full Nika transformation would b his truly strongest form

I think the most likely candidate for the man marked by flames is Dragon, however; because of other tid buts of info we know about this man marked by flames, like their possible association with the government, I'm leaning more towards a character that hasn't been introduced yet. Or if we do know them, we haven't seen an actual scar on them, YET! If it WERE in fact Dragon, would they not give the last Road Poneglyph location or the actual Poneglyph to Robin while she spent 2 years with them? But it's Dragon, who knows how his thought processes are working, honestly. I think Saul is going to do exactly what you've said about a power up for Luffy and some historical knowledge about Nika.
