watched a documentary from the BBC called The Most Hated Family In America, and those kids dont understand what it means. When asked by the man doing the documentary they simply repeated words they heard from their relatives. It is child abuse and its disturbing as hell. Good video.
Their children need to be taken away. They put in danger ever time they take them out. The mental trama to the children is terrible. The state of Kansas needs to protect those kids from their parents.
I'm very proud of my fellow Chicagoans (even though I don't live there any more). And I grew up in that neighborhood. I actually went to school a block away from that police station (Mason Elementary). I also love that Chicago police let them get in their face instead of making the counter protesters stand across the street or something.

It is going to be insane. Thousands of protesters screaming at the top of their lungs, although, I think silence will be much stranger, or chanting gibberish. It won't be a peaceful funeral of only close family members I can tell you that.

They're not asking for special treatment; they're asking for their rights that they're entitled to as American citizens to be protected, and that's for gay marriage to be allowed. What they want is equal treatment/protection under the law.
I wish everyone in local cities would gather and counterprotest like these guys. They did a freaking brilliant job. I also loved that they brought sheets to cover up the hate :)

That's a sacred rite that has been around for thousands of years, and is a time of mourning. Personally I think that particular church shouldn't exist but, that falls into the religious freedom thing, and I'm all about that, but what this church does is so disgusting and appalling it makes me sick to see what they do.

i think the WBC makes people reexamine what they believe and realize they need to find love in their hearts not hate unlike what their signs say. I find it weird that in that community (usually called Boys Town) there is a Salvation Army college for officer training (a school to train members of the Salvation Army to become pastors) and there is no strife in that community between them. The whole school takes up an entire city block and you even see it at 3:45 past the Shell gas station There is even a large sign on the building that says "Heart to God, Hand to Man". Good to know there are some churches that aren't so filled with hate.
They're not accomplishing anything, even by their own standards. Other than drawing attention to themselves and generating lawsuits, which is how they make money. So fuck 'em. We should quit paying the slightest bit of attention to them. They'd get tired of that pretty quick.
