There are good room mates too. All should do background......checks like you do for everything. If we couod get more support for seniors as we do for children, need would be less for seniors to take such risk.

Loved your treatment of an otherwise pretty standard poor roommates story. How sad that senior dude ended up living with a wild one. That neighbourhood is not somewhere to put down roots. I would park my campervan for a couple nights and then move on.

My favorite seafood restaurant in Daytona was " Shells " they had the very best fried clam strips and cole slaw ! Sadly I heard the corporate offices filed bankruptcy in 2008 and most of the Shells closed, not sure when the Daytona location closed , I have friends who still reside in Florida and keep me informed what is happening. I did like DeLand , Florida which is about 23 miles inland from Daytona. My parents retired to Florida from CA , they left Florida in 1996 moved to TN, I said oh yes a great reason to leave LOL I live in a nice rural area in Northwest, TN.

ok so I was in a small town restaurant once and you could see thru to the kitchen. The special that day was spaghetti, and as I gazed through to the kitchen there was this older woman who dipped up some of the sauce in her stirring spoon and took a big sip of it....then returned the spoon to the pot!
Lamont; great videos....that house for sale has so many amenities: airplane flight plan, train tracks, trash truck repair center.. wow!....just wondering is the local water sewage treatment center nearby?... And an open krystals to visit too. Sign me up!
