Hello all! I hope you enjoy this video tutorial on how to do face swaps in Photopea. I've gone for a bit of a different editing style this week, with more dynamic zooming etc, and also on screen tips and comments to compliment the voice over. I'd love to hear in the comments if you prefer this approach, or do you prefer the more minimal editing that I would normally do on the channel?
This is the first video that actually made sense to me! In fact, I wrote down every single step to see if I can recreate. Your end product looked great! And I liked the screen clips.
Enjoyed to the fullest!...More such compositing videos please. This presentation style is better. U might want to add buttons(eg.Ctrl+J) keeping the beginners in mind.
Thank u for all the hard work! I recently got into photo editing and ur channel is an absolute treasure. Love ur text effects and these compositing vdos. Also i think the approach in this vdo is easier to follow.
I am writing this comment in August 2023. I estimate that this Face Swaping task can be done faster and better with the new Photopea Magic Replace tool. Maybe it's a good time to update the video.
Is there no icon on the tool bar for it? If it is showing either the polygonal lasso tool or the magnetic lasso tool instead, click and hold on the icon to choose the regular lasso tool.
Hi Mo. What is it exactly that you need help with? Holding the Alt key and clicking on the layer icon will 'clip' it to the layer below, meaning that anything you do on that layer, will only effect the pixels of the layer it is clipped to, and not everything else underneath it.
@@mokaseke378 I'm sorry, I won't be able to do that. But the point of the channel is that you can learn techniques to be able to do the edits yourself :)
Hi there. Do you mean how did I get the 2 images into layers of the same document? If so, it was just a case of opening one of the images first, then dragging the jpg for the other image from my desktop straight into the Photopea window, and it automatically adds it to another layer in the document.

I noticed the pop up for tips! I really appreciate that because it adds in helpful details while not making it too audio-heavy.
@@sarornhae5346 Glad to hear it! Thanks for the kind comment.

Hey! When I get to the brushing step, all I end up doing is drawing black on the background
how about starting from where you get the picture. You started it with the two pictures already there.
Hi, the download links for the photos are in the video description
magic ❤️
Thank you! 🙂
I’d rather use photoshop but this is good 😊

I assume so, although I haven't really spent much time with Photopea on mobile devices.

You lost me at the beginning! How did you get 2 pictures on the right side, you never showed that? I just get one on top of the other.

@@photopeapro Thanks! I tried opening both of them.
