Yep. A market based solution. So don't think for ONE second that the true goal here is to restore forests. It has to be about keeping investors happy and that happens with money.
Its about time the F.S. takes over and says we have to log and clean up the woods. Or the fires will do it for them! Thank goodness! Here in Idaho, we logged alot more more I think, in the panhandle, with more smalls roads to access fires more quickly. It helps. People working in the woods is the best thing for it.
I watched this twice. There was no discussion of how a pension fund investing in project would meet its fiduciary duty. Who pays them back, with market rate interest, and where does that money come from?
