OMG Adding the pink to the mix is fantastic. Can't wait to see what's next. The third one is just as pretty and so is the next one. Plus you have the paint still on the plastic
Thanks for your instructive videos. I have a tip for you, after having the plastic come untaped while trying to remove a canvas, I've switched to a large (12"x12") ceramic tile and now apply the paint to that instead. It's easy to clean and reusable.
@@ArtbySusanKing i love that one too. I keep trying pour painting but haven't had a keeper yey. You make it look so easy but I can't get the hang of it. I will keep trying till I get a good one. P.S. I sure make a mess tho.
I love your work. You're very talented I couldn't help but notice that you mixed your paints in recycled yogurt cups. I do the same thing. I also use the cups to drain Christmas ornaments that I've painted the inside. So many ways to recycle and save $$
Very pretty. I used to do this kind of dip awhile back but didn’t like having so much wasted paint so I started using 2 canvases. Put paints on bottom one the2nd canvas with a base coat only press onto the bottom canvas and get 2 paintings.
Today when checking my 'notifications', your painting "(181) Flower Acrylic Dip Paintings (3 Dips in 1 Video) came in to view very quickly... oh my goodness, Susan... due to my age and health I had to take an early medical retirement. Over my life time, I have been in pursuit of your art. I pray to be around a little bit longer. Thank you Susan... thank you for showing your talents and gifts with us. Well done true and faithful servant. May Adonai bless and keep you and your family forever. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
absolutely gorgeous dips ..... love them all .... its raining and chilly out today ... perfect for trying this out and relaxing ... thank you for sharing ..
I'm totally in love with these dips!!! :) Just pretty... today I launch an art collaboration with the queen of flower dip - FIONA's ART! :) It was the first time I ever did a flower dip, and they are sooooooo addicting. lol. I can see how you just want to make them again and again and again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful paintings and the technique.
Thank you, your ideas are excellent. Please tell me, is it possible without a hair dryer? or is this a mandatory procedure?do you add any other substances to acrylic paints? I will be grateful for your response. ⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘
❤️ I am just starting pour painting, is that a heavy trash bag you use? Every time I try this it is nothing like yours. I love your work. Can you help me, get a chance to try.
Absolutely stunning! I have one question. Do you rough up the tiles at all to make the paint adhere and do you apply a resin on top when they’re dry? That’s two questions, isn’t it? 😂😂😂
I love your paintings. Beautiful. I've tried 12 times to dip coasters and every time it's a disaster. Never looks like a flower and the white background always has a million little wrinkles. Do they go away when they dry? I've never let mine dry -- always scrape them off and try again. Help. Getting frustrated.
Try making your coloured paints a little thicker and the base paint maybe a little thinner. They usually dry flat. The only way you will know is if you let one dry. Try it on a cheap canvas or a thin scrap board. What do you mix with your paints and what brand of paints do you use? That does matter also. It's all trial and error. Hope this helps Good Luck
If the previous video I saw was delicate, this flower is not only delicate, it is amazingly beautiful. I just love it. I am certaily learning a lot from you. Thank you Susan.
I am completely new to this, all day I look at the beautiful masterpieces you create. You have mentioned you use household paint, ie, black/white mixed, sometimes you have a glossy finish and sometimes Matt, can you please tell me what type of paint do you use. I live in England so have different makes to you, thank you x
I use artist Loft Flow for white and black and sometimes Behr House Paint for white. my other colours are Liquitex Basics, Amsterdam, Windsor Newton, Deco Art and Artist Loft
