Thanks Kathy. Yah, he is a good friend of mine, he's been at VIA for a couple of years. Actually, in the cab, they switch position regularly during the trip, from the engineer seat to the conductor seat. Sorry for the delay, you see why I am not posting on YT these days, too busy, Cheers ;-)

One of the true hidden gems of the Via Rail Network! A trip from Montreal to Jonquière is a scenic adventure, great train inside and out, and great staff who work on the train too!

Yes, I agree it's a nice trip, but the problem with this train, is the very bad 'timekeeping' because of 'obstructions' by CN. They lost a lot of customers over the years, when the train comes back from the North, often it arrives in Montreal 2-3 hours late, and on the way to Jonquiere, it's not much better
