For the first 40 years of my life, I suffered through many days of seeking an identity. My sense of worth was rapped up in MY friends, MY job, MY achievements, and MY talents. While these things are good, I did not know that I should not have been trying to seek my true identity in any of these things. Because none of these things created me. And since I was too caught up in self (MY), I was too blind to see this and I suffered through an identity crisis most of my life.
That is, until I was drawn to Christ and His Word. This is where I began to understand who I truly am and whose I truly am. I pray that the following words, along with this awesome song, would be an encouraging reminder of the things that I was too blind to see and realize for so many years....

My Mother-in-Law is very mean to me, she says mean things to me that makes me feel less of myself, so I come and listen to this song to remind myself that Jesus loves me no matter what.
Growing up fatherless and dealing with low self esteem and feeling inferior and being bi-racial left me feeling less than for years,
But now in Christ , He has made me whole and my identity is in Jesus, Father God accepts and loves me.
