This game had some good things, animation was actually good but everything else?…, well you saw it… The sound recognition system was poorly used Walking Simulator 2024 You can ask any question you want and she will kill you 90% of the time The only question you need is “can you help me”, thats it, other times she kills you, the secret ending was an easter egg but not an ending, she pays no attention or reacts once her literal murderer shows up and trys to shoot the detective The story had little to no effect whatsoever and it lacked interest The whole “find the item” is like an easter hunt and all you need to do is keep your mouth shut, go to cams, wait for dog to make sounds, go there, think where this sentence leads to and done I get this was done by one dev and I respect that And I hope they’ll learn from this wasted potential and actually make a horror game with a good enough story and actually utilizing the sound recognition system

The game fails to utilize the sound recognition system. You may, and can ask, "Are you friendly?", and she will reply positively to that question, but she will kill you regardless. I dont get why this even exists in the game. She will kill you during the talk with the sheriff when he comes "visiting" a bit before the final showdown as well. And, she doesnt even respond a single bit when her murderer comes back into the house. Its as if the sound system is only there because it became popular through the cultural osmosis of indie horror games. What a waste of potential, really.
You are more generous than me in your review, honestly I don't see anything good about this game and also previous one (not sure if you saw his other game Supernormal). There is no good story, there is no good voice aciting, there is no good gameplay mechanics, there is no good puzzles there is nothing honestly. Just some ideas with really bad execution.
