Owned and sold mine just this past Saturday. The game is incredible and it is my first or second favorite game of all time but it's a lot of money sitting in one spot. I had my fun with it, sold it and made some money so it's treated me fairly good! Zero Complaints in that regard!
Rarity doesn't always equate to value, and money doesn't always mean fun. Between the playfield pooling and chipping and then the lack of code, it's certainly not worth $20K - even $15K is a huge stretch. The Hobbits code is fine tuned and polished.
It is a fantastic game. We had a few more goes on it later in the evening and it really grows on you. The playfield is great, the attention to detail and build quality is exceptional. Is it worth £20k? A hard question to answer because the rarity pushes the price to a point beyond my means. I couldn’t justify £20k on any game but there are those out there that can. As an investment it’s probably sound and as a game its great!
I've been lucky enough to play this one a bunch (a friend has one) it's good but not in my personal top 10. It's a fun game for sure but in my personal opinion the hype is 70% rarity, 30% gameplay. When my friend has us over this game typically gets played the least.
Game is expensive to make and the owner is bitter about the lack of sales. He already said that everyone chose not to buy it when it was for sale. If they rereleased, the only way to do it would be to charge 15K and make it a limited release to no more than 500.

Love that whirlpool ramp with the outer lane to the wireform.
Looks a great game, but I think for the money I'd go with a few others first.
hmm.. is the cabin a remake of Blackrose? .. The cannon in the center was replaced with something more sturdy I guess.
I love it. When you stack multiballs and everything starts its epic

Do you think JJ could re run these or do you think that the license is dead now due to the controversy with Johnny Depp and his recasting.
I think if JJP could have done it they would have by now. They know they could sell a lot of these.

I have owned one, loved it, sold it 3 years ago, wish I got 20k, 😢😢
if its earning on location maybe...
They need to re-release this. There is enough demand for it.
I agree

No it doesn't, it's a very overrated game, and the price is a nonsense. the gameplay is ok, but nothing special.
it looks and plays like toord polished with shinola
Gilligans Island and Popeye are better games.
no, next question please.
Would you eat avocado with fish?
How many umbrellas do you own?
Have you ever considered wearing a leopard print thong?
