Ive lived in Tassy all my life and a lot of my youth down the Tamar but came to high school in Lonny then worked here after
.When I got my 1st car it was the done thing to drive around and around the streets of the city at night I guess it was a way to meet other people better than all this technology now Thankyou for sharing

Blockies! 😃
Many years ago we did blockies the streets have changed slightly since those days Back in the early 70s.The police amazed me they would stand on Coles corner and just watch us all go around guess if you did something wrong you would know about it, but a carload of girls and a level headed driver we didnt ever get pulled over
Oh, the old blocky route. Good times and it was the only way to find your mates as their weren't any mobile phones
Thanks for sharing mate. I have lots of beautiful memories in Lonnie. as I live almost 5 years with my Family. I just left Lonnie 10 months ago. going back to my country. I still remember everything around the corner and the street name. Lovely memory. Cheers.

What a strong feeling when I see this. I lived in Launceston for 5 years and have been away for just a year. it seems like a very long time for me. I am now in the states and everyone drives on the other side of the road.
