      As Jim said, he heard. He really didn't know the story. Bobby Heenan, Bad News Brown and other wrestlers talked about it. Before the match Luger told Brody how the match was going to go literally calling the match. It was a huge slight to Brody or any vet for someone just learning to wrestle. He no sold to give him a lesson. Also look up later in the year. Luger learned his lesson and apologized and later in the year Brody put Luger over by allowing him to beat him. The Undertaker did the same thing in his first match. The undertaker rightfully said how wrong he was and how stupid he was for the way he acted towards brody. Look up his interview with Stone Cold Austin. Could you imagine a green wrestler telling stone cold or the undertaker how the match was going to go? lol

    Yeah because we all know all the fights Brody won. Oh actually we don't. He was one of those guys who acts crazy and everyone believes he can fight for some reason. Luger was ruled by fear. If Luger had to fight and had no choice and nobody was around, what you'd likely see is Luger realizing that Brody can't fight either. The reason I and Lex ran out of the ring is that if you're playing a game by rules and the person you're with isn't, then you are at their mercy. Anyone who does this stuff in a wrestling ring is a pussy because they are taking advantage. They know you're not going to hurt them but they CAN hurt you.

    From what Lex has said in recent interviews, he says that after the match he had a conversation with Brody. And by the way, Lex has also refuted ever leaving the building all together following the match. He says that just didn't happen. Anyway, after the match, Lex alleges he talked to Brody about what happened and Brody told him he just didn't feel like things were going right. Nothing personal. No real issues with Lex from what Lex could see once everything settled. Brody just stopped working because he didn't feel the match was going right.
    Honestly, I don't understand why Brody was even in wrestling. In spite of what he said in an interview about wrestling being good to him and how much he loved it, it didn't sound like Brody was too fond of how wrestling was designed back then. But the thing I'll never understand is that if Brody was such a pain in the neck for bookers and promoters, then why let Brody get away with his shenanigans. I understand that Brody drew a lot of money, but surely his draw wasn't so great that it was worth putting up with his unprofessional demeanor. And I know Brody was a scary guy in terms of what he could do, but you could probably say that about a lot of guys. One thing I'm certain, in the U.S. Brody wasn't at a Hulk-level draw, and even if he was, that's still stupid on the booker and promoter's parts to allow Brody to act the way he did during a show.
    I dunno. Me personally, draw or not, I wouldn't have put up with Brody's arrogant disrespect. I would've stopped booking Brody if he'd pulled that stunt in my promotion. And I would've black-balled him and told the other promotions not to book Brody either. I would've done him up the way David Schultz was done by Vince McMahon.

    • @bourbon646
      @bourbon646 3 года назад +1

      Brody wasnt a draw. Maybe he was decent. He knew that he could take advantage of a few promotions. He did that. People hating Lex is stupid. Lex was never unprofessional. WWF basically screwed Luger when Bret told Vince that he would leave WWF if Luger won the title at summerslam 1993. Then Bret inserted him back in the title picture haltingly any chance Luger had to become a WWF champion.
      Then the same guy Bret said I wont loose my last match and Screwed Vince then Vince had to screw him and then Bret was bitter about it for years.

    • @DoppelgangerShockwave
      @DoppelgangerShockwave 3 года назад +1

      @@bourbon646 Thanks for trying to start a conversation, but in terms of Brody not being a draw, you haven't a single clue what you're talking about. Bruiser Brody was a big draw in the territories he wrestled in. I just don't think he was a draw on the level of Hulk Hogan. Least not state-side-wise. Brody was super popular in Japan, which is where Brody made most of his money, which Brody can thank McMahon for because Brody was black-balled by Vince Sr., allegedly, for beating the snot out of Invader #1 in the mid-1970's. By the way, if Brody wasn't a draw, he would've been tossed out of the wrestling business like Eddy Mansfield was. And by the way, I live in Texas where Brody drew the most in the U.S., so I can attest to his stardom in the wrestling biz because of how popular he was in the WCCW in Dallas. Here, Brody was a big star before his murder in Puerto Rico.
      As for Luger, I have no issue with him. I only stated his response to that night in recent interviews he's had. You can easily find them here on RUclips. Just search Lex Luger Bruiser Brody Incident.
