So happy you liked them Charlotte! Very sorry I didn't explain how to actually eat the "submarine" haha - you basically dip it into the water to make it a little softer, and then lick/eat the vanilla itself. And my Biscuits of Britain biscuits are just suggestions, do use anything you like :) I'll be sure to send some more of the sesame sticks when I go back this Summer, haha! Lots of love, V xx
I don’t think I could have got the submarine anymore wrong 😂 vanilla water was interesting though!! Thank you so much for the box, it’s always interesting to see what other countries eat (and how they eat it). Hopefully my card made it to you 😄
ondules this unboxing couldn't have come at a better time. I'm travelling to Greece this weekend for the first time. Will definitely keep an eye out for these yummy foods.
I'm Greek and I enjoyed it twice as much... 😌 (Just for info, with the submarine thing, you're not supposed to drink the water, but to lick the vanilla from the spoon as long as it is wet, then another dip and another lick, and so on, like a hard candy but vanilla remains on the spoon till there's nothing left!!! 😉)
This was amazing! Thank you Charlotte and thank you Vicky for providing everything for a two hour video! I needed this! I actually sat her listening and gave myself a much needed mani and pedi all whilst listening to your lovely whisper and thinking about how much I want to go to Greece!
This video was a youtube recommendation and I am glad I've found you!😊 Most of these flavours hold so many memories for me and a lot of other Greeks of course..A lot of these brands exist for over 35 years, so as you can imagine, a lot of people have grown up tasting them. Going to go check your other videos! Take care!🌹
I never knew that English people pronounced oregano differently than Americans. Where I live (in CO) we say o(REG)n-o as opposed to (oro)gano. I love learning these things! Great video 👍🏻
Eruca sativa is the Latin binomial. In some areas of the US, it's still called rocket. Arugula is more widespread. I knew it as rocket first. Rocket comes from the French roquette, a diminutive of the Latin word eruca, which once designated a particular plant in the Brassicaceae family (probably a type of cabbage), according to Wikipedia. Arugula is from the Italian word, rucola, a diminutive of "eruca".
phunkybarbie there are so many words that you pronounce differently to us English! Some of them are really funny 😂 it takes me a while sometimes when I watch an American programme to understand what they're saying!
Hey Angel, I love every video you make. Any chance you would make a role play video where you cut and fold fabric on a hard table (with painted nails), then write little receipts (just like the ladies at the fabric stores do)? Those always gave me the most ASMR tingles! The sounds of fabric folding, with painted nails brushing against the counter top. Wonderful! Thanks! We love you!!!!
So missed unboxing videos and have been re-watching old ones to fall asleep including the cereal tasting one though I'm shocked how much I can love froot loops and you can hate them! 😂 Brilliant video as always!
Hi Charlotte. If someone had said to me a couple of years ago that I'd be enjoying watching a lass from Middlesbrough opening a massive box of Greek snacks...I'd have had them certified...and yet, here we are. Funny, life...innit?
Oooh. Off to Greece in a week and a bit, time to make a shopping list I think. Had the oregano crisps on a boat trip there a few years ago :) ps gold wafer bar = soko-freta :)
You did the Greek submarine wrong! You dip in water lick then keep one once eaten you drink the water lol you should keep your phone handy to google some of these!:)

We also call cilantro, coriander #FunFact
It's the same plant. We call the seed coriander and the fresh leaves cilantro, which is the Spanish name for it.
And you Americans have some odd name for rocket (arugula??)

you're meant to eat the stuff on the spoon! It's called a 'spoon sweet' and it gradually becomes soft and chewy x
Well I feel like an idiot now!
So missed unboxing videos and have been re-watching old ones to fall asleep including the cereal tasting one though I'm shocked how much I can love froot loops and you can hate them! 😂 Brilliant video as always!

Skip to 44:06 to figure out why so many comments are about a plain striped t-shirt.
I had to go back and watch because I forgot why too
Glad to see you again
Love the shirt Charlotte.
That’s a *FABULOUS* shirt.
Haha the part where you dipped the vanilla submarine (that's what we call it) to water was cute. You're supposed to eat the spoonful :)

Missed you, baby
you have such a british name :)
The way you pronounce blue riband makes me uncomfortable x
How else would I pronounce it?
ASMR Angel blue ri-band. Ri as in ricky, band as in a musical band
I thought that’s how I was saying it?
