Something like this almost happened to a friend of mine. She was going to Canada and a friend of her wanted her to carry a luggage up for her. I begged her please not to because I asked her why she couldn't carry her own luggage. I was suspicious because she kept begging her and I said to her something not right, why was she so persistent. My friend took my advice and didn't bring the luggage and the next friend vex and don't talk back to her. I said to her, better she vex and your ass not in jail.

My first time in Canada in 2000 while waiting to collect luggage an African lady approached me in a very friendly manner. She was extra friendly and said she was excited to travel from London to Canada. I noticed she wanted to make friends straight away which was odd in the luggage area.
She walked in front of me while going through Customs. We were stopped and straight away the Customs Officer seems to be waiting for her. They asked us if we knew each other and travelling together. Straight away I told them that I have just met her while waiting for luggage and she was extra friendly. They said Madam you can go but they took the other lady away. I was not searched!I wasn't nervous because I could not be implicated into something that I am not apart of. Also noticed there were lots of Police in the luggage area.
My advice to travellers not to make friends at the Airport or luggage collection area.
Aren't you warned at the Airport "not to leave your luggage unattended, don't help anyone with their luggage and not to let anyone help you"?
A very valuable lesson indeed. No generosity to anyone in the airport or anywhere who you never know before

Im glad this man had the same airport experience as the other lady traveller to the Cayman, because some folks was saying that the Caymen travel lady was lying. .
It' seems like selfishness is the new order of the day in order to be clean. Trust no one.
