Very sad outcome but actually believable. Unfortunately many Chinese women marry rich husbands and allow the men to treat them like garbage. So the women end up like this.

This is a stupid story, a surgeon can't just abandon a surgery and pass it on a PA, first he's not qualified and there usually other surgeon who has to take over, 2nd when pt dies , relatives are informed right away and has to sign paperwork for cremation, at least that how it is here in the US. But I think this is a universal hospital policy

Firstly, the actress who played the green tea ruined her looks with the lip filler. Secondly, the kids are better off without their father. Maybe he and green tea girl will be reincarnated as dogs. He would ignore them just as he ignored their mother. They'll be with the mother's family -- the uncle who will take good care of them. Perhaps a follow up episode telling the story about the kids ten years later and how they have progressed under the influence of their uncle would be nice. Thirdly, the FL is beautiful and did a good job. These look like younger actors being trained and may progress to better stories and productions. 😊

I love this 22:43. And this 1:06:11 I like the plot. The execution... the script is actually not as worse as some other dramas out there (logical/illogical scenes wise), but there're just some things that unsettle me. Especially about the kids. FL and ML didn't seem to put much thought into the kids despite their condition (FL dying for cancer, ML died with mistress), what kind of parents are they???
He's not a very smart Doctor. He works in the hospital but he has no clue. He should investigate before he accused his wife and his actions toward his mistress. A very stupid husband.
The 2FL couldn't have succeeded in any of her scheming if the husband truly loved abd respected his wife. It's easy to say 2FL was the problem, a n d she definitely interfered, but again she was only able to hurt the FL because hubby allowed it. @jackChow-s5c I think marriage is great if the couple puts I the work to make it work. Lots of communication beforehand, realistic expectations for each other, etc. It's not just the wedding day , it's the day to day stuff or the signs not paid attention to. It's if you saynyou have to change someone into who you need then why get married stuff. I don't think marriage is the end all be all that we've been fed. If it makes you happy then fine, but it's not for everyone, or at least everyone doesn't choose it, nor do they need to.

I like the plot. The execution... the script is actually not as worse as some other dramas out there (logical/illogical scenes wise), but there're just some things that unsettle me. Especially about the kids. FL and ML didn't seem to put much thought into the kids despite their condition (FL dying for cancer, ML died with mistress), what kind of parents are they???
Script is at fault. They didn't show us what happens to kids, and it's rare for husband to commit suicide

The 2FL couldn't have succeeded in any of her scheming if the husband truly loved abd respected his wife. It's easy to say 2FL was the problem, a n d she definitely interfered, but again she was only able to hurt the FL because hubby allowed it. He knew the 2F L liked him, tgerss no way he didnt see and feel it. He spent most of his time with her acting intimately and lovingly as if he was her husband. He was flattered by her attention. I mean come on, he's a doctor and never noticed his wife was sick...because he didn't care. So his upset abd anger at tge 2FL was ludicrous. If he loved his wife he would've been distanced himself from 2FL and told her 'we can't be friends because I'm married and it's not appropriate for you to keep calling me to take care of you, or constantly hanging around me and onto me, you dressing in little to nothing when I'm around. It's disrespectful to my wife and not acceptable behavior. Iam not interested in you. I have a wife and family that i love so i won't be seeing you anymore. ...wish you the best best.'

@jackChow-s5c I think marriage is great if the couple puts I the work to make it work. Lots of communication beforehand, realistic expectations for each other, etc. It's not just the wedding day , it's the day to day stuff or the signs not paid attention to. It's if you saynyou have to change someone into who you need then why get married stuff. I don't think marriage is the end all be all that we've been fed. If it makes you happy then fine, but it's not for everyone, or at least everyone doesn't choose it, nor do they need to.
