Are you kidding me right now?! The colors of the leaves, the camera work (and editing), the chicken and goat-babies and the description of the scents and smells of this amazing apple orchard - not to mention the outstanding view from the platform is just...poetic! Yes, I said it...you're a poet! This is just what I needed today, thank you for sharing! 🍎 👏🏻 🍁
Reading this made me so happy, Lu. Thank you so much! As much as I love talking about candles, these are the kinds of videos that truly make me feel satisfied and rewarded upon completion. The cherry on top is the beautiful responses such as you comment here. Thank you for brightening my day! It never goes un appreciated. ❤️
I know, right? I seriously had no idea until I started to clip those stairs. What an experience. Thank so much for commenting and watching, Karen! Hope your;re enjoying your halloween season to the fullest! ❤️
I live right up the road from the orchards, and even so, it feels like a world away whenever we go to get apples and produce! You hit it on a beautiful day, with the perfect lighting!
Now, if you could just put all of these scents in a candle. But how to put the wind in a candle....? What a view!!!! Thanks so much for bringing this view to a couple of transplants to the desert.
All the world is a scented candle, but you’re right... how do you capture it in a jar? Either way, thank you for all of the kind words and for your continual support. Much more to come (FINALLY) 😁. Happy Halloween!
Love this! I worked on this orchard during apple season for 8-years and a place that holds many amazing memories in my soul. Love Hackleboro Orchards and the family that runs it are amazing people. The view deck shot had me tearing up. Thanks for sharing this
Thank you for appreciating and pointing out the camera work. It's always important to me to make sure that these videos look and sound the best they can so that you folks feel like you're actual right there with me. Thanks for watching and commenting!
You're absolutely right. Some of the best places I visit are completely unplanned.... I just stumble across them while purposely trying to get lost in the country. Thank, Diane! Hope you're enjoying the Halloween season to the fullest!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I'm just watching your video a year later and I wish was around when you were there. This is my home my family moved here when I was just a year old in 1991 and we've been operating it ever since. I'm happy you took the chance on following the apple signs and got a rewarding afternoon!
Jennifer, thanks so much. I an't tell you how much I truly appreciate this comment. Thanks so much for always sharing your support and kindness. Much more to come (finally!). Hope you're enjoying your halloween season to the fullest! ❤️
This was a wonderful video. The fall colors. The autumn feels of the Orchard. The roadvideos. Gave me so much! Especially as we just don't know when the time will come to be able to board an airplane to the US again. Thanks for taking us with you. Love from Munich ❤
Oh boy, this means so much coming fro you, Claudine. Thank you! I hope you get to visit ASAP. Not being able to travel has been one of the most difficult parts of 2020 for me. I need to constantly move... it's like breathing. So glad to hear that this little video brightened your day. Lot more to come. Hope you're well!! Talk soon. ❤️

Don't ever trust the mileage on New England road signs - always add 5 -10 miles to what they say! If you ever make it over to East Dorset, VT go to Mad Tom's Orchard - a huge family favorite - been going there since I was a kid.
Such a beautiful video. Love how you take the time to film establishing shots of you driving up to locations..etc. New Hampshire seems so unbelievable this time of year... Especially loved the music choices at the ending bits. Fantastic work man
Oh you know me 😂, whether the cameras are rolling or not, I'm always making a movie I my head. Nothing like leaving my brand new camera in the thickets as I drive off down the road. I should probably get some kind of insurance 😂. Thanks so much, Tim. Your observations always rewarding to me. Send the family my love. Talk soon! 🙌
@@TheCandleEnthusiast Thanks, real cool Rainey day here in Michigan...I haven't got one the old-school Candles yet but I will be getting it soon...and I can burn that into November.. Spiced Pumpkin..take care of yourself Shane and I will be glad when you do a show on the Holiday Candles from Yankee and other one to.
We took my niece apple and pumpkin picking this month. It was nice because there was barely anyone there. We were in the fields by ourselves. Most of the people were buying bags of apples from the orchard's store. The pumpkin patch was also pretty much empty. There were maybe 10 other people there. This is my favorite time of year, so I am glad we got to uphold those traditions during this pandemic.
So glad to hear that you took the extra time to actually go out into the orchards to pick your apples. It's all about the experience, not the result. Good for you! Thanks for watching and thank you for all of the kind words and support!
Right? Thats how I felt. Thankfully the beauty of the day distracted me from the potential danger. As it turned out, the folks fro the orchard were the kindest of all people. Great hospitality and an overall wonderful experience. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Have a great day!
@@TheCandleEnthusiast - You are very welcome! It's great to meet a dude who's into Halloween and candles and smells ( put it this way: when I go into Michael's to check out the Lemax offerings and seasonal candles the women outnumber me 99 to 1, lol ) as well as the festive spirit of Autumn in general. That's great the folks at the orchard were so hospitable. Thanks for the reply, keep churning out the creative, well-edited and nicely shot friendly videos, and to you as well: Have a great day!
I just watched this video twice (so far) because it is so amazingly beautiful! And I had to light my Yankee Candle "Macintosh" candle. Thank you, Shane, for taking us along on this ride! I can't wait to see your upcoming travel videos!

Wow, I live 2 towns over from Salem, MA! How super cool 🙂 this was great and that farm looks so beautiful! I hope to be able to visit it one day. I'm glad you are doing well!
Yes, you should totally visit. I can't say enough about how friendly the people were and how magically beautiful the property was. It's totally worth it on a quiet day when you have some spare time. Thanks for sharing and watching!
Def have to check out that farm next year. Only 30 mins away from me I went to a diff farm this year. Your drive to that farm reminded me of my drive to this brewery last year. We passed about 5 cemeteries ended up on a creepy dirt road in the woods had no idea where we were and saw this farm and the brewery was on this farm and we were the only ones there.
Jenna, I loved reading this. Your excursion to this brewery suds so familiar to me. I seem to always find myself in secluded areas and I love that little sense of "this is a little creepy". that factor always seems to add to the adventure. And yes, you should definitely check out this orchard. I can't say enough about how peaceful and beautiful it was. Thanks so much for sharing and watching!
So great to read this. It's always my pleasure. It truly gives me a wonderful thrill to share this part of the country with those who don't get to see it. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching!
Thank you for today's adventure! What an incredibly beautiful and huge place! I may have to put this and the Shaker Village on a bucket list - to be seen in the Fall of course! Beautiful colors! Time to go light an apple candle...Witch City Wicks Poison Apple :)
So cool to read this. Liz would no question to be excited to hear about how you were burning one of her candles while watching one of my videos... and it certainly makes me feel honored. Yes, this is an area that you should definitely make note of. I felt like every exit there could've been 100's of things to do. I'm already looking into Shaker Village. It looks HUGE. Thanks so much for commenting and watching, Morgan! ❤️
What a lovely place! I can just imagine how incredible the fragrance of the orchard is. It’s been many years since I went to a apple orchard and I really miss that experience . Thanks for taking us along!
No need to thank me, thank YOU for watching and alway showing your support and sharing your kindness, Stephanie. More to come... and I couldn't be more excited about it! ❤️
Shane, this was so beautiful and relaxing to watch. The orchard seems so classic and almost magical! My husband said it made him want to move out to a farm more than ever. We visited our favorite apple orchard a couple weeks ago in Boulder County that had suffered a hard freeze back in the spring and then unrelenting drought and wildfire smoke since, so they lost their orchard crops (but thankfully not their spirit.) We did pick up some of our favorite apple cider donuts and other goodies. But it just wasn't quite the same. Thankfully you brought the rest of the whole classic orchard experience to us with this video. Thanks for this scenic, aromatic adventure! The fall colors are just spectacular around there in Massachusetts and we are excited to see more of your travels. 🍂🍁
That you so much, Carol! I very much appreciate all of your kind words. So sorry to hear about your orchard in Boulder. These freezes and fires are so heartbreaking to hear about. As you probably know, I lived in Napa Valley for many years, and seeing the hardship that they're going through (again!) right now makes my want to cry. Agriculture is a 24/7 7 days a week job and to see their efforts blown away in a puff of smoke and fire is so dreadful. But you're absolutely right regarding what you said about spirit. You need an enormous spirit to survive with these tragedies. And thankfully, spirit is what the best farmers have. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
I love this video so much. Apples are synonymous with autumn for me. Burning an apple candle, watching your adventures! I can recall the fermented vinegary scent of the smushed apples on the ground from apple picking as a young person. It's always fun to find an adventure without trying. Thanks Shane!!
