I use a 10mm deep well socket on a 3/8 extension for an alignment pin fits snug, then when I loose it somewhere in the car it can join all the other 10mm sockets that just vanish. Great progress!
That's awesome, it'll be cool when you recreate that picture. I see that Pontiac engine in the background. You look a lot like your brother in the picture
The front mounts have alinement holes that line up with holes in the torque boxes they put the subframe in the proper location without all of the measuring.
Are you planning on redoing the body ? If so why don’t you get all the parts like exhaust and brake lines and what not out of your way if you plan on replacing them ? Is the subframe going to come back out ? Just hate to see you do work twice or the hard way.

Thank you man, that engine is 326, it has some issues :( but I think we can overcome those!

What is the correct tool to use while aligning the subframe? Thanks.
i think a spud would work for alignment one on each side

Yep! The exhaust was driving me crazy seeing this video. Wont work anyways with the 326 thats going to go in.
The exhaust is coming out when I start in on the rear end, the pipes are only hanging on via the rear connections. Thanks!
Can they be put on with car intact 😮
I have a 75
Yes and no.. you can pull the 4 that mount under the body... but those radiator ones are going to be harder to replace.
