  • "Mythical beasts of the Mountainsea·Lovebirds is the fourth piece of
Mountainsea String Ensemble Series by composer Kang HanzhongMountainsea · Overseas South records: The lovebirds are in the east, and they are green and red, and the two birds compare wings." Another said that Mountainsea · Three Classics of the West records "There is a bird in Chongwu Mountain, which looks like The mallard, with one wing and one eye, is able to fly when it meets one's appearance, and it is called Manman, and its presence will bring floods
The records of these two theories are vastly different. One is called lovebird, which is the "lovebird" that we poets and literati originally intended to understand-a symbol of love; another said that this divine beast is called Manman, and its appearance will bring floods to people. The same thing is that the appearance of the mythical beasts described by the two theories is the same, which seems to be very contradictory-the same book records two mythical beasts with the same shape but with very different symbolic meanings? If you delve into the logic of the Chinese mythology, you will find this contradiction everywhere. How can a bird fill the sea? How can a pregnant woman conceive a child for three full years without giving birth? How can a person have three eyes? And it is this contradiction that has made Chinese mythology and Chinese romance. You can't go deep into it, and you don't have to. Therefore, in this piece, the composer believes that this mythical beast is not only a lovebird that symbolizes beautiful love, but also a Manman that brings floods caused by ferocious bad luck.

Bravo! Fantastic! Chinese traditional music combined with modern style and a Western string quartet. More, please!
