So excited after I found this video. Shijiazhuang is my hometown and now I am thousands miles away in Canada. I have take this train so many times from shijiazhuang to PEK(ZBAA) then take HU’789 or AC’s 77w to YYZ.
There are people queueing at the gate because there is limited luggage space in the train, and usually people carry quite a lot of luggage with them, and no one wants to store it in front of their feet :)
Aviation Junkie it's change a lot. I'm living in Australia now, last year I go back cannot find some places... some small shops which I love to shipping during my high school life is disappear.
Aviation Junkie I was think about why you chose Shijiazhuang. It was my hometown as wll, but I have to say, this city still needs to develop, compares to other cities.
there should be a movie theater in the station. then the passengers can watch a movie to dismiss their time before the train. I have such need. and there should be some employment agencies inside for the people who come to look for a job.
I live in Europe and our night trains (the only trains that travel distances as far as 800 kms) usually have a few scheduled stops in the time table that are one hour long, because otherwise they would always be way too late, haha
I am a Chinese, I tell you, this high - speed railway station in many large cities in China, medium cities are very common, it must be such a large number of people
Shijiazhuang got a really big and modern station with some classic architecture!!!
