Day 2 and 3 of the Tiny Bike Tour 2 and it did not start the smoothest but after a bit of spannering we started to make some real ground
We are doing a 1000 mile loop of the South Coast on 54 year old 2 stroke mopeds. Moped touring is a real challenge but definitely worth it as you get to absorb the views at 30 mph.
The bikes we chose for this adventure were a 1970 Puch Maxi and a 1970 BSA Ariel 3.
Motocamping at it's finest. Along the way we will be wild camping as much as possible as well as making the most of strangers hospitality.
This is all to raise some funds for Combat Stress which is a veterans mental health charity so please consider donating.

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Isle of Wight underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find their scooters....maybe you can hire The OAP-Team.

Great series so far. Well played to you lads. Im a member of sbba as well. Having owned a tomos a3 years ago ive much respect for you mental blokes on the puch and bsa! Ive had plenty of fun on small bikes over the years including going from Derbyshire to wales and around wales to go back home on a ropey honda c90. Currently smoking around on a honda pantheon which is a great old scooter.

Really enjoyed these videos. Your brave lads. A mate and I had Raleigh Runabouts together,I just missed the 16 year old law , by 3 months. Most of my mates had bikes up to 250cc. But we covered many miles on our Runabouts great fun. 12 o’clock on my 17th birthday I went out on my Honda 175. Wow what a bike. Then had British bikes, but always had a Honda c100 as a emergency bike.

Its easy to tour on a modern big bike but 50cc mopeds like these are a motoring challenge not just because of their size and lack of power but you want to avoid main roads so navigation has to be a bit old school as satnavs don't like avoiding main roads
