I have to admit that these newer Malibus are quite beautiful. I actually think GM is making the most gorgeous sedans on the road of late: love the looks of the Cadillac XTS, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Impala and Buick Lacrosse. These four models over the last 5 years are beautiful to look at.
If you don’t mind me asking, would you recommend buying this car? I’m actually interested in buying one, but I would like some first hand personal experience from someone who actually has one to base my decision off of.
It's not bad. I personally don't care much for the front end design but the rest of the car is pretty elegant and it's nice to see that they're not all black on the inside. I just feel as though black has been overdone and I just don't see the appeal in it. So yeah, not a bad car but I'd still prefer a V6 over a 4 cylinder turbo any day.
I have a 2020 Malibu premier in black, already 57,000 miles I have had the turbo fail once and the shifts are not the smoothest from 1-3rd. Overall, it's a 8/10. The air vents are terrible, they hit the sun perfectly and the glare truly is blinding. GM please fix those issues. I have had every generation Malibu since 2002!!

It depends if you need more space then go for the blazer, if you want a nice car i would go with the Malibu. Let me know what you end up doing !

87 Should be fine for most cars. It would say on your gas cap if you needed more premium gas. Hope this helps.
