Great video dude. Love the storm glands, cool that they supply various crimps in the pack. :) Mitre bond is wicked stuff, love it. I use it a lot. Hope your hand is ok dude, you kind of need them. :)
@@GiffordsElectrical do you find a two rods screwed together to go deeper is better than two rods in parallel, or is it just that that means additional boxes and lugs?
@@TheMattSturgeon it totally depends on the ground. As standard I use 2 rods together and that is generally enough but I have had to do them in parallel. My aim is to get below 100 ohms whenever I have to use a rod.
It was just badly bruised 🤣. The first went down in about 5 minutes but the. Back to manual and it probably took another hour, I didn’t time it actually but should have.

Great Job, Craig, hope your hand gets better soon 😎
Nice video. Can I ask why you decided to change the fuseboard? Apart from it being old. ...

I don’t own a mains sds and don’t want to either
Why install a second rod, great video mate
Hi Steven, I always do 2 lengths to give me the absolute best reading possible. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy part 2 when it drops next week.

New intro is better - the old one was more like a plumber :-)
How wonky could they make that bedroom switch?
It could of been straight 30 years ago when it was put in for all you know
Are those steel toe caps you have on?
Yep
how old are those houses?
It’s grade 2 listed. Not entirely sure on its overall age but it’s 150 to 200 I believe
