- After decades of planned big and small screen adaptations--which all fell through--Richard and Wendy Pini's groundbreaking indie comic, ELFQUEST, is finally being adapted into an animated series from producers, Rodney Rothman (SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE) and Adam Rosenberg.

Nice to know there are other people who love elfquest as much as I do. This was my childhood. The graphic novel form was how I was introduced in the 80s.

I have a *great* feeling about this! I read it's not going to be for children, and if that's true, this is a perfect time to make an adult cartoon, because there are so many more cartoons for grown-ups nowadays.
Same here! I think turning it into a series instead of a film has great potential. Great choice to make it more adult-oriented, definitely gets me hyped 👍
Elfquest and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were 2 of my favorite comics in the 80's! Skywise is my favorite character!
Nice! I grew up with TMNT too, devoured everything from the comics, cartoon, toys, and live-action movies!

So excited for this. It will be interesting to see where in the series they start the adaptation. First impulse would be the exodus from the Holt (Book 1?) but it could be interesting to go backwards from the big war with humans (Book 10.) Favorite character is Rayek for sure.
