Hello All. When I was a small child I was inspired to start learning tea by a lovable animated uncle I saw on the TV. A few years after that I was told to try "kung fu" tea by a friend. After not finding much information for two years I was surprised to see a video on Gong Fu Cha by two Rogues I watch. After that I found this channel and binged this series. I have spent years and a moderate sum learning this discipline. I have embarked on a life long mission to learn as many tea cultures as I can. That being said Gong Fu Cha is where I started and is still my favorite way to prepare tea. I once rewatched the aforementioned series while drinking my favorite from your store Vanilla Obscura, the original, which was in my opinion a wonderful way to spend time drinking tea.(Very sad that there is no more of the original. The new release of VO has a slightly different flavor.) Thank you So Han and West China Tea Employees and everyone who helps with these videos. With much love to you all. Keep on Keeping on.
Love ya brother, thank you so much for all you do. You are one of the funding inspirations that helped me and my wife start our own tea business and life tea journey.
Thank you for the great videos, always super informative while being down to earth! Whenever I have tea, I always put a fair amount of thought into what tea I want to have in the moment. But, its really hard to describe my process, but I feel you describe it well. I think weather impacts me the most, but the emotional aspect is there as well. My only rule is that I have to have eaten first as I am really sensitive to caffeine. Sometimes however this does not help, like just yesterday I had 9 steeps of an old shu puer, I drank it at around 1:00, and I still had trouble falling asleep! I find that aged puers have a very strong qi (sometimes too strong!) and affect me a lot more than other teas, unsure why this is however, as I have read that they do not have any more caffeine than usual. I just recently got some tea from your shop for Christmas and I am planning to share some with my sister! So thank you for the advice on what to serve, useful to me as I often go solo!
Thank you very much once again for such wonderful gift. I’m exited for the tea I ordered from your website, I’ve been trying to get my hands on golden mold tea for my wife, she developed MS and anything helps. We enjoy drinking tea and watching your videos on the weekend. In fact last week we talked about the DJ analogy and yes indeed we drink 2 teas at the time, today for example was dong ding and a nice sun dried gu shu black tea. Best wishes for the move, I hope I can do the gong fu internal class tomorrow.
Really enjoyed your experienced insights on this. I struggle with my choice every morning but appreciate the broad spectrum available to choose from and am learning how to match my choice to myself (solo usually) or who I’m sharing with.

5:48~ My personal record of Smoke Bomb keeping me up is 15 hrs(3PM~6AM next day).
Sounds stronger than Deathwish Coffee!
@ BTW I consumed a full kettle of Smoke Bomb(a little shy of a quart) to get the effect.
You are a very good teacher.
I’m thankful to learn from you. Thank you again❤

I sat down today and thought to myself ‘what kind of tea do I feel like today?’ And remembered this video! Had to come check it out

I love learning about foreign cultures. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Such a good video. I learned so much
Another great one, just watched through with my mom
Do you have any books you would recommend for learning more about tea regarding Chinese medicine (which tea types are cooling/warming and so on)?
