Best thing to get is onesies with footsies that have the double zippers, everything else is useless when you’re tired or have a diaper change emergency!
Plus don’t buy too much newborn diapers, hospital will give you some and that baby will outgrow them in two or three weeks.
Lots of different size and style bibs because you will need them until they’re at least 1 and stop drooling from teething or comfort when eating food.
Different types of milk bottles and nipples in different sizes, because believe it or not they have to be changed after a few months!
Milk bottle sanitizer that dries those bottles because you’re going to be using them a ton!
Different types of swaddles and sacks for later…..
Seriously I’ve become so good at gift giving for new moms now. I know some people want the glam and every IT item but when you’re tired caring for your baby, it all goes unused 😂

i can not help glad the vad the father to be. i never had biological kids. i might be helpful when the baby girl turns into a second grader. my literally and figuratively late wife and i taught 2nd graders in class of christen education. it was so long ago that most are young adults and parents tell that the roughly half hour of sunday morning christen education were some of their childrens favorite times that tickled their memories. jane and i must have done some good. and it proves to me that adage that if you can explain a concept to a 2nd grader you have a handle of the course material. but it also helps that i like to think young like a 2nd grader.
