Pretty straight forward like printing from other photo editing software sweats. What does Goo-eye stand for, or where did the word come from? Thanks for any replies.
Walter....thanks for the great video. I'm new to C1. Right at about the 4:20 mark where you click on and discuss selecting the Color Profile, I do the same thing on my version of C1 but, I don't have all of those profiles to select from like you do in the video. I just have 13 choices, ACES CG Linear, Adobe RGB etc but, not the printer/paper selection like you do. Do I need to download these profiles to add them to my C1?
Hi @2002guy .. yes you have to download and place them in the correct folder. If you have a photo printer the installer usually installs the printer maker's paper profiles for your printer. If you are using other paper like Moab or Red River then you need to download the correct profile from the paper maker's website for your desired paper-and-printer combination.
@@WalterRowePhoto Walter, thanks so much for the quick reply. I'm searching online now to try to get it sorted out. Hoping I can find some profiles for my Epson Stylus Pro 3880 and then I'll look for the paper specific ones. Thanks again for the help!

Thanks for the video. I print graduation packages with LR (the only thing I use LR for). Is there away to have presets for print packages? It's so easy in LR
@Walter, Have been struggling with my iMac to get the correct colours, thank you for the 85 tip. Now my images shows same brightness as on screen. Any tip for creating a watermark logo, like the one you have? I am on a Mac and use Capture one. Thank you.
Thanks @Lars J for the kind words. I am happy to hear my video helped you. My watermark was created using Affinity Photo and a font I got online. I saved it as a PNG file with transparent background.
@@WalterRowePhoto Thank you Walter, might try Affinity, but was hoping for a free way of doing this. As it is, I can always stay with the text based version in C1. Thx
@@larsj5964 You can try the free Adobe Express Logo Maker online. www.adobe.com/express/create/logo/transparent I have never used it. They claim it is free to use and can make transparent logos.
New Subscriber here. Finally a simplified tutorial, THANKS. How do you come out with the aspect ratios? So if I want to print an 8X10 from my tethered photo You say I have to chose an aspect ratio and not just 8X10?
Thanks! You tether at native camera aspect ratio. In Capture One you use the crop tool to set the "edited" aspect ratio. This isn't affecting the original image. It is just "masking" a rectangle to your desired crop. Capture One has several common aspect ratios built into it, but you also can add your own crop presets.
Sir, i have a question for you. What if you do not want to be tied down to one of the aspect ratioes offered. Could you choose customs settings and use your own aspect ratio.
Thank you. Very helpful!
Glad to hear that.

Hi Walter. How do you set up your colour management? Do you turn it off in your printer settings and let C1 handle it? Thanks!
Yes and yes. Turn off in printer and let Capture One handle color management.
