Lovely looking menu!....I have quite a few menus from 69 to 76 (tickets at Tahoe) but not that 72 one....I have about 10 jan/feb 70 menus left as I grabbed a bunch when they weren't looking....lol...vg condition...a special one signed by Vernon...I have 2 69 menus vg condition left and about 30 post cards from 69....have made deals with these items over the years....thks for your video....glad you're getting the memorbillia going along with the fabulous music collection!!!! 😊

Wow, what a bunch of great items! I'm not much for memorabilia (I spend enough of the records 😊 ) I do have that 1973 catalog that I got by writing a letter to RCA in the 1973. If memory serves me, unfortunately, I used it as a checklist with magic marker LOL.

Another cool video, Mark! Elvis’ records are the most fun to collect but the memorabilia is always fascinating to look at as well. I own the 1970 & 1972 catalogs, which are similar to your 1973 example. Those are very nice! Just one item of interest that I would like to get your opinion about and that is what you think the future for Elvis collecting holds. Some say that in another 20 years, no one will care about Elvis records or memorabilia as his original fan base eventually passes away. There may not be enough young people out there who will contribute to the sustainability of value in these items that we collect and the values may plummet drastically as time goes on, as they already have with artists such as Frank Sinatra. I would like to hear your thoughts on that. Walter

Thanks for watching Walter - I appreciate it! I was literally having a similar conversation with someone yesterday aboutthis subject. We were saying how some folks mentioned that they need to do this or that to keep Elvis‘ legacy alive. I honestly don’t think he would need any help with that. Elvis Presley is considered arguably the most iconic and biggest superstar of the 20th century.
As far as his music and memorabilia, yes, a lot of us who were around when Elvis was still alive, through the years will die off, but I’m always amazed how many young fans of Elvis are out there! I truly believe that the newer generation will continue on with his legacy!
I know I gave you a long answer, but hopefully that helps you. 👍🏻

@@markselvisforeveryonechann1153 Yes, Mark, that’s a good answer and I really hope that you’re right about increasing new collectors out there. I watch many eBay auctions and I was amazed by what dollar amounts were realized by several MONO pressings that were sold by a particular seller just this week! It was encouraging. Elvis is still widely collected in Europe, possibly more so than here in the USA. Thanks, Mark!
