Hey guys, did you know that in terms of human and Pokémon travel partners, a Latias' forehead is proportionally sized and perfectly shaped to fit the average human hand? This means that when you give them a headpat, you are able to provide stimulation to the 5 sensitive nerve spots around its head & ears all at the same time with minimal movement and effort causing a healthy release of dopamine which thus relaxes its muscles that they constantly put a strain on in order to fly at incredibly high speeds for long distances. This makes them the perfect travel partner because the constantly desire your affection through headpats.

I always thought that ‘Speed’ in Pokémon was associated with reaction speed. Like how fast the Pokémon understands and does what you say. Given that both trainers in the games say what moves they want at the same time, but whoever has the Pokémon that reacts faster goes first.
That certainly explains mole pokémon like Diglett being so fast, but it still doesn't answer the question of why Volcarona, an atlas moth, is that fast

@@charlesn.750 Jet's actually have relatively low acceleration. A human can actually get moving faster than an F1 car, at least when initially starting.
In german the "Speed" stat is called "Initiative" instead. So it is more about how fast and willing you are to throw a punch And yeah, i am pretty sure a Purugly has no second thoughts on scratching something.^^
I've always thought of this as well, as it explains Escavalier having a horrible speed stat, and Pokedex entries saying how fast it is.
I love how Noble is saying Okidogi in the "Mario" voice when he's actually doing a LUIGI voice. My boy Luigi deserved credit.

1:57 I actually saw the video for this, the guy made a pokemon costume for a robot he was borrowing. He went through all the pokemon(I think from gen 1 only, I might be wrong) & kept only the ones on 4 legs & decided to go for Jolteon. It was interesting seeing the process of them making the body, changing some stuff cause the coloring on some of the material looked bad after some coloring & even 3D printing the head in like 4 parts.

The best Pokémon is Gardevoir. Hugs are dangerous but well worth it, and their undying loyalty to their trainer can be endearing at times. They’re also pretty and will win any contest you put them in, their fairy typing and psychic typing paired with their high special attack makes them powerful battlers, and their special defense makes them able to listen to your problems all day and find the best way to make you happy again.

For those who don’t know, volcorona’s lore in black and white is that he was literally worshipped by an ancient civilization as a representation of the sun. You have to talk to npc’s and in game flavor text for the info. Haven’t played the game in years so don’t remember all the details too good.
The sun got blocked out, so volcarona acted as their sun
I can asure, there aren't that many pokemon mods for Skyrim, a lucario race, a gardevoir costume, and that would be all that lets you play like one

I'm hoping for Johto remakes... preferably good ones unlike BDSP, and... to some extent PE, there are some things it did right, like I like the idea of Master trainers, ESPECIALLY LOOOVED them bringing Green to life in the franchise, having never existed prior outside of cut data from RBGY, hoping Kris gets brought back in the same way without cutting Ethan and Lyra. I think the safari zone Go style catch method is fine, just make it possibly optional. Like maybe if you battle it more experience points, if you use Go method, easier to catch, because one draw back PE did face was lack of exp due to this. It wasn't inherently bad, just needs some tuning and to be optional, and a weighing the options scenario is a good way to give players a way to determine if they want one method vs the other. You a collector? or battle hungry? Choice is yours. Since we already have good remakes in HGSS too... why not sequels?
Johto games are already sequels... so why not make a sequel for this sequel? Bringing adult Red and Blue from SM and USUM, aging other Kanto and Johto characters up, retiring gym leaders, elite 4 members, and having new ones, or maybe some return that were absent from Johto, like Lorelei maybe she's an elite 4 member again, higher up the chain, or now a Kanto ice gym leader in the Sevii Isles. Make Karen or Clair the champion while Lance retired, Blaine retired, maybe replaced by a dark gym leader, or Chuck, maybe Jasmine retired and Brock evolved his Onix just like her, thus now he's the steel gym leader, and an electric, ground, or rock gym leader took Jasmine's title as gym leader (much like in SwSh, we already knew that's how gyms worked because of Kanto and Johto Sabrina took out the Karate King became the Saffron gym leader, while he was demoted, Janine took over for her father Koga while he moved on to be in the Elite 4, and again Jasmine used to be a rock or ground gym leader before she evolved her Onix, forgot which). A grown up Ethan, who is a post game lvl 80 boss like Red was, there is so much potential with world expanding by doing sequels rather than a 2nd remake.
Then Legends Johto games would obviously be nice too, I want them to do Johto BEFORE UNOVA, as much as I love Unova they need to take like a dozen steps back and think before they screw those up like BDSP was. Legends Kyurem obvi, but... you promised fans back in the day BW3, no crappy remakes, especially because that'd mean BW2 is forgotten. Do sequels, age up the characters, bring Hilbert and Hilda back as sort of post game Red battles like what they had intended in BW2 (they're in the data, but didn't have teams, so an obvious early scrap). Then just put BW1 and 2 in the eshop for newer players, like RBGY and GSC got on 3ds, wouldn't be hard, emulators do it, Nintendo already uses emulation as much as they deny it and hate people emulating their games.
I want to see prequels, and sequels, bringing newer fans into these regions, while providing new stuff for older fans, I don't think they can go back to ORAS' formula because it was so well done, and no other region going forward would be able to use that formula. The only gens that could've were gen 1 and 4... and look where that got us.

9:00 oh quite the opposite. In the Pokémon manga, most battles are life or death for the trainer. The goal is to attack and defeat the enemy trainer more so then the Pokémon, other then official league battles. Pokémon adventures is a great manga and I highly suggest it to any Pokémon fan.

ACTUALLY-
In Pokémon Adventures, Trainers are a much more Active part of battles. Battles can be separated into three forms; Freestyle, Competition, and Other.
Competition is the kind of Pokémon battles you would think of in the anime. Stationary trainers, Pokémon doing most of the work.
While in Freestyle battles, trainers can use tools and you can actually attack the trainer/their Pokeballs buttons directly. Basically, more like “Wild Battles”, where there are no rules besides “win”. These? These are the BEST GOD DAMN BATTLES IN THE SERIES.
A few highlights are Yellow vs Lance, Gold Vs The Masked Man, and… ok, I won’t spoil anything else.
Other battles… they are basically any rules-based competition that isn’t a standard battle. Like the pokeathon, or like the PokeMarathon.
I love it when team rocket is doing there intro and ash just blows them up before they can finish 🤣🤣

Only two names I can think of are Chell for the Leafeon (Portal reference) and Curly Fry for Sylveon (woulda been French Fry since it’s the eeveelution from Kalos, the French region, but I think that’s the Jolteon’s name right?)
