Phil Ive been curious, i see that you are hooking up UART and reading the error codes without patching the BIOS to remove the encryption. Is this because your using the Paid version of the BwE PS5 code reader? Curious because im teaching myself the method of UART diagnosis and i was under the impression that you had to dump the bios, reflash with patched version of the bios, to then be able to read the decrypted uart logs? But it looks to me like your just hooking up uart right away and there isnt a need to reflash bios to get uart codes? Love your vids m8, glad to see your uploads regularly again~
No mate I use a free UART reader script from AndyMan. It's called PS5 Wee Tools. If you do a quick Google you'll find it in the top results. I wouldn't recommend BwE's tool. It's expensive and he cons people into thinking you need it to decrypt codes but that's not true. I'll be doing a video on UART tonight to upload tomorrow as a lot of people have asked for a guide on it

I actually already have PS5 wee tools and successfully hooked up UART to a console, and did get it to read UART but it was all invisible(encrypted). Anyway, I'll eagerly be awaiting your vid on UART. Hey Phil, do you have any experience dumping the 8pin Spansion NOR found commonly on ps4 pro? I’ve been trying to dump a ps4 pro Nor with teensy++ 2.0 for revert purposes. Tried on board with alt pads and had good continuity and then out of desperation desoldered and tried off board, same results I’m using Nor Master -SPIway, reverted a few days with 16 pin nots and 100 pin syscon without issue.
@@TheCod3r no no error codes It Just overheats shuts down and i manually have to take the ac cable off the ps5 and Attach it back in order for me to turn it on ?

It would overheat unfortunately. The APU runs too hot to use thermal paste

It depends if you get any errors. It could just be overheating but it could be something more serious like an issue with the SSD
I Guess i have no idea but what i can Say Is that It overheats and shuts down . Man i Hope its not and SSD issue
SSD issues are possible but usually you get an error code when that's the case

No, the only way to unban a PS5 is to contact Sony or replace the APU which isn't economical to do
