- In today's video I pick up some high bay lights from the service department of a dealership. Years ago I recycled all the parking lot lights and now they are upgrading the service center to LED's. Let's hope for some double copper transformers. Thanks for watching! #transformers #electric #electricmotor #recycling #scrapping #scrap #copperwire #aluminum #diy #projectshopfl #copperking #led #ledlights #lighting #generator #statorwindingmachine #electricmotor

That's my favorites thing to do! lol
Great Video ! One man HUSTLE. very nice. 👊
Thank you! 👊
Hey Derek sorry I missed the video drive but as always great content thanks for putting it out there there's a lot of people out there that I'm willing to better benefiting from this in more ways than one. Great week brother
Thanks!
Picking up 2 45KVA transformers tomorrow. Hope they are copper! And picked up load of 30 parking lot lights and a whole pallet of transformers! Half are alll aluminum but some nice double coupler 1000 watters in the pile!
Nice, unless the transformers are old or came from a government building they are usually AL and I just sell them as Iron/Aluminum
Excellent prices on aluminum! 4.05 for #2 is what I get as well. $4.20 for #1! Might be higher by now!
Nice!
great job!
Thanks!
22min is killing it! 1 person
Thanks!
i lover your scrap videos
Thanks!
I've never seen that many xformer cores so tight. Your rig was really jumping, but it held in there.
The ones with the plastic are always tough to remove the cores.
GREAT videos as always! Watching you wailing away with that 5lb hammer is impressive as #@*$&^
Thanks 👍
Informative as usual! shame about the lighting this time. Thankyou.
Thanks!
Great video i hope you dont go to the yard that stewed you. you rock
Thanks! I will never go back there.
put the song on (werewolf’s of london) when your working outside at night, cause your a werewolf
😂😂😂 Thanks for the suggestion
capacitors we sell for irony aluminium
Some are Aluminum and some are steel. These one were steel and my steel yard won't buy them.
just another great video that i like too see you do, your so good at explaing what your doing to get the most out of your copper thank you for shareing
I appreciate that! 👊
great video love the changes the editor made the the timelapse on the press
Thanks 👍
Brotherrrrrrr!🎉
👍👍👊👊👊
Im surprised the caps don't go into dirty aluminium.
Ignore what I said lol
I will try and sell the aluminum ones at my Miami yard but the ones in this video were steel and the steel yard does not take them.
Great video.what happened to the thick copper you were getting ?has it dried up?😮
It comes and goes. Got some coming this week.
#1 copper is 4.15per today here in Texas silver is over 30
I seen Ag go to $32/ozt today, dk know the high, maybe that was. Au got around $2432/ozt. Copper at my scrapyard was $4.20/lb on Friday, SF bay area
Nice!
Nice score.
Thanks!
Hey have you seen the copper price I am probably going to sell what I have
Yes! It's a good time to sell.
I've gotten those mixed aluminum and copper wound stators. They suck!
Things are made cheeper and cheeper now. So sad 🥲
Yes they definitely suck!
Cars, they dont make them like they used to. I sadly let go a 20 year old cruiser. Will my new one last as long? I doubt it. Keep yours running as long as you can.
Thanks, I plan on keeping this car as long as possible. I'd like to restore the drive train while the parts are available so I can get a nother 20 years out of it.
You might get lucky and find a low milage parts car. You have a lot of old people in FL who don't drive very well. It wouldn't take much of a hit to total a 20 year old MB. You have 2 trucks, why not 2 cars.
@@johndaley9188 I will will keep my eye out.
How do you get all of those cables? Do you need a special permit or something to be able to get them, and where? I’m interested in learning about this, since I do metal scraping and want to expand into this area.
Electrical contractors.
@@ProjectShopFl thank you so much!!!! U still the best in copper king of kings 💪🏻💪🏻
They wont buy the capacitors as E scrap ? River metals just started buying stuff like that
Not at TMR they won't take them at all. I will check other yards.
Did you have Luck selling the rotors irony aluminum? They wouldn’t take it here sold as shred…
I've sold the small ones as irony aluminum in the past.
13:31 Didn’t you open one capacitor up a while ago and were surprised to find copper or somthn inside?
Yes but it was a different style, I will open a few on camera to show what's inside
@@ProjectShopFl so some styles do have the goods inside, do you not get those styles often then?
Hey just curious why you throw the capacitors in the garbage and not in the shread?
They won't take them at the steel yard I go to maybe I will try an another yard.
Nice score with the double coppers. $1,196 total. I may have missed it if you said how much you paid. Was this a free pickup? Cruise control at 125 MPH Beast mode. LoL.
Thanks I did not pay for them yet they have more coming, I will probably give them 2-3 hundred when I get the rest.
Can't go wrong with free. Your tip is a nice gesture for future business with those guys.
Why did bill gates go to epsines Island 27 times
I don't know maybe he is a pedo
I always see you throw away thise big capacitors but as far as I know that is ironyally. You might want to check with the scrap yard.
The ones in this video were all steel. I might start to save them and bring them to a different yard but most places around here won't take them.
